0 stars, DO NOT LET HER DELIVER YOUR CHILD. she made my daughter's birth the most traumatic and stressful birth I have ever had. She made catty comments to her team of nurses, kept telling me I should only feel pressure then I experienced extreme pain during her cervical exams which I never had before.like she was taking her knuckle and shoving it in to my prenarium. Got annoyed at me when I told her not to check me again She told me I had a lip on my cervix and we needed to move it or I would tear in to my uterus. so I said okay then when she moved it and I was in so much pain I couldn't push kept saying "you have to push, are you gonna push, if you want that baby you better push." Things like that. I told her to stop she got upset again. I also didn't tear my cervix. Then she literally was pulling me open to "make room for the baby" so she says and it had me screaming at the top of my lungs and crying. I have 4 kids all unmedicated. I also have precipitous labors so when my body… decides it's time for the baby to come it pushes and I can't stop it. Everytime she pulled on me it stopped me from pushing and she continued to make comments about how I was pushing as I'm screaming. The contractions themselves hurt but we're manageable until she started "making room for the baby" I finally told her not to touch me again and everything started going again and my daughter was born in 3 pushes. She then made a comment about how I had a first degree tear on my prenarium because she couldn't do what she wanted to do. I have always tore there with every pregnancy, usually I have 2cd degree or more tears and have even had to have an episiotomy so a first degree tear isn't that bad. Afterwards it felt like she was doing it on purpose or out of spite for an unknown reason. She had no respect or consideration for me or listen to how much pain I was in. She only ever presented me what she wanted never asked if what she was doing was to much. She even acknowledged that my body was moving the baby just fine on its own then still kept trying to do what she wanted to do. She was uncaring, uncompassionate, and just plain mean.

Best kept secret in Hanford! I have seen Dr. Minassi twice and each visit, her excellent bedside manners and genuine smile made me feel comfortable and at ease, even during the commonly-known-dreaded female pelvic exam. I didn't feel awkward at all. She truly cares for her patient and goes out of her way to ensure her patients get the best care. I highly recommend her to friends and family.
