Dr. Arshad Mustafa, MD

My usual doctor was Dr. Mustafa, and he is very good. Then I was moved to Alexandra Kuhn, and that’s ok. She is good too. Ms. Kuhn is as equally conscientious and caring as Dr. Mustafa. Alexandra listened patiently as I read my list of symptoms and concerns to her. Then she felt my knees and ankles. She said my left knee felt warm. Then Alexandra suggested, and asked me if I wanted a shot in my knee. It turns out that I did. I walked out of the office with my knee already feeling better than when I walked in. Shots are wonderful and now I plan to get one every 2 or 3 months. Mark Gray

I have been Dr. Mustafa’s patient for almost 7 years and I absolutely love him! When I first came to him I was very sick with multiple health issues. I was on so many medications and was worried about my future. Now I take 2 medications and my lupus and health have balanced out. I could go on and on about how great this doctor is. Every person that I run into with autoimmune issues I refer to him!! HE IS THE BEST!!!

I saw Dr. Mustafa for some joint pain that I was having, he was very caring and took the time to explain my disease to me carefully and in a way that I would understand. I cant thank him and his team enough for the treatment I received.

Dr Mustafa is a magician in my words. After years (8) of symptoms and not get any answers on what was causing my health to decline, DR Mustafa diagnosed me in three days. Granted we had to wait for labs to come back. Lupus is a monster and with Dr Mustafa's help, we have slowed the progression and limited symptoms. Unfortunately with every disease there are setbacks, but Dr Mustafa is quick to react to them and get my health back in check. His office environment is clean, friendly and very respectful. I have not had any bad experience with his staff or other patients in his office waiting area. Everyone always seems to love Dr Mustafa.

Speaking from my personal experiences as a disabled Veteran and long-term patient I give Doctor Mustafa my highest recommendation. He is very professional, thorough, and detail oriented. If it's the end of the day and you’re the last patient, you get the same uncompromising treatment and attention as if you were the first patient of the day. The office staff have never had a bad day that the patients would know about. They always have smiles and kind demeanor. They try their hardest to work you into the schedule that best suits your work, school or personal needs. They call you with appointment reminders and emails too. The office manager has gone above and beyond to personally help me forward medical documents to a third-party agency after her office hours closed. The location in Decatur is easy to find and the facilities are always clean and well represented. Doctor Mustafa is an outstanding care giver who surrounded himself with excellent support staff.

Dr. Mustafa is an excellent doctor and very caring he takes his time with you and listens. you never feel rushed I recommend him highly his staff is friendly always seem to have a smile on their face and laughing his lab is right there and makes it convenient and she is excellent at her job I recommend Dr Mustafa highly

DR Arshad Mustafa is wonderful he listensto you and is very sweet, but he needs a new staff, been calling for over a week now and no returned call about my pain meds left messages over and over but no response. excellent DR but the staff needs to be retrained all over.
