My friend went to him for a simple colonoscopy and he did a great amount of damage. You have been warned.

Dr. Chasen is an amazing surgeon. In addition to being skilled in his field of expertise, he is a compassionate caring doctor. He sincerely listens and let’s you know that he and his staff are there for you. Best team ever!

Pros:did a good surgery. Cons: coded billing incorrect resulting in over $1000 in unnecessary charges. Coded preventive colonoscopy as a “follow up” and so far has refused to fix his coding error. Be very wary!

Having had one dose of chemo after a 1A lump removal, finding out the hard way that chemo was another drug that I am allergic to, and having Dr. Chasen take over my care with 4 surgeries and lots of rehab we are convinced that I am alive due to his care and skills. We cannot thank him or praise him enough for his loving care. Monnie

Dr. Chasen is such a fine physician. He is skilled in both listening to your physical challenges and diagnosing what needs to be done. I am so happy he chose Maui as his home. He gives so much to his patients and his community.

Excellent surgeon and a nice guy too. I had laparoscopic inguinal hernia repair, great results, no pain.

When I think of Dr.Chasen... The first thing that comes to mind is his gift to Humanity. I say this because I have experienced numerous health issues and unlike most doctors nowadays, Dr Chasen ,truly uses his heart and soul in connection to his intellect and rich medical knowledge. Therefore, I would seek out his guidance and opinion on numerous issues . Should you be considering a gastric bypass your journey will be better experienced through the medical expertise and talents of Dr. Chasen. This is a Doctor who can juggle being on call,having just operated on a patient and then arrive still present and energetic at our monthly support meetings. Warm Aloha to you all as you decide on your future plans for a happy and healthier future. I am pleased to celebrate two years out from my gastric and I'm still thrilled to be thriving . My first impression of Dr. Chasen are very positive. He is casual, but thorough. I will be having surgery for a hiatal hernia in a few days and will complete another rating based on that experience.
