Dr. Arthur Thompson Evans, MD

Dismissive and rude (questioned my choice to have a child at all because I have a history of a tough childhood and depression in remission) and then advised "I TOLD YOU NOT TO GET PREGNANT" when I got pregnant. However, he was capable of managing me and eventually decided I was worth being a bit kinder to. Honestly, he did not care about me or my fetus... but he has knowledge and kept us both alive. Which counts for more than anything. I would avoid this UC campus as a place for delivery and one front office girl and a mid level you may have to see can be rude, but, again, he probably won't contribute to the death of you or your unborn child.

I met Dr Evans when I was in labor at 5 months, he did everything in his power to save my baby, 3 yrs later I was pregnant and I went to Dr Evans, he saved my daughters life and mine. My daughter is named after him., He is an amazing Dr and I cant imagine anyone ever saying other wise! He does not sugarcoat anything but he does care so much about his patients!

I would not recommend anyone go to this man. Met him with my daughter in consultation- he seemed to have little interest in her case and was rushing to end appointment and move onto next. Very arrogant and talking down to us, as if we were wasting his time.Also observed speaking sharply to office staff, which was definitely a red flag. Would recommend against seeing this man for any care.
