Dr. Arthur Curtis Jones, MD

Went to this clinic twice in a week. Asked for a specific test each time. Wasn't ordered the first time. Called to request over the phone - "that would have to be another appointment". Went in again, asked for the test again. Didn't happen. Then overheard Dr. Jones speaking negatively about me in the hallway. Went here when Dr. Turner was there. He'd be sad to see what's happened to the clinic.

The staff and the Doctor were knowledgeable, efficient and friendly.

I was so unimpressed I will never go back.

If you are looking for a new Primary Care Physician I can definitely tell you who to avoid, Dr. Arthur Jones V at Oasis Family Medicine in Meridian. He is not compassionate, understanding or professional. When I told him about my chronic pain I felt as though he thought I was lying and treated me as if I was jsut a drug seeker. He finally did an X Ray which showed why I would be complaining about the pain I would be having. He really didn't listen to me about the treatment I thought would work best for me. I decided to find a specialist on my own and called his office to ask which type of specialist he would recommend and they said QUOTE "Dr. Jones does not want to get involved in your chronic pain" I am reeling at the fact that he wasted so much of my time and my money. I guess all I can do now is learn from this bad experience and actually find a Dr. that knows what the heck they are doing.
