Very very bad doctor I had bad experience ignorant person I wish never went to see him I am not recommend anyone

Cuts straight to the point, clearly explains your ailments and treatment options, and complex brain surgery is clearly his forte. His confidence was very reassuring.

Saved my quality of life

Dr. Kobrine has seen several of my family members for different reasons. On all occasions, he has provided top-notch professionalism and I could not say enough about his expertise and ability to be honest and straight forward about serious issues. He caught an extremely serious issue in my sister that was missed by over 6 mos of doctors and other neurologists (including MRIs/xrays/etc) and almost caused her paralysis of her spine. Words and good reviews cannot state enough about his capability. He is exceptional in his skills and who I even go to for recommendations in other medical matters. When you need the very best - you don't care about hand holding -- you want the best neuro-surgeon, and he has by far proven his skills for many patients. Fantastic.

Dr. Kobrine is a SUPURB surgeon. He gave me my life back. He is VERY caring and kind. I had complete confidence in him going into my operation and that confidence was totally justified.

unfriendly and arrogant

If you are in need of touchy, "feely" medicine then perhaps you won't be fully satisfied. However, if you want expertise and precise, diligent work towards relieving your pain or solving your neurologic issue then you'll be completely satisfied. I found Dr. Kobrine to be knowledgable, thorough, and absolutely invested in my health and well-being.

I was sent to Dr. Kobrine by another doctor, because I was experiencing neurological symptoms. Granted, he agreed to see me at short notice, however, I was with Dr. Kobine all of 5 mins. We just had a chat about my symptoms and then he turned to my colleague who accompanied me and called me cuckoo. He then said, quote: "That women of my age often go crazy." He called me crazy six times during the course of our meeting. I then left his office in tears. It turned out that I had toxic poisoning from severe allergies that I did not know that I had, which was giving me severe headaches and brain fog, etc. It was very scary at the time, but I am now on medication and am doing fine. I have never come across a doctor with such a terrible bed side manner. He is a disgrace to his profession. I would not recommend him to anybody.

Excelent very experienced surgeon with surgically precise results -- inveighs confidence in his abilities. Truly an expert in his area.
