Dr. Kornbluth is an amazing doctor, but his office is so extremely disorganized (as is he) that I began to question how much thought he put into my care. I once spent 4 hours in the waiting room--absolutely unacceptable. Normally I wait 1 hour in the waiting room. This is because they often double-book and triple-book patients. He also spends most of the visit reading through your records, instead of preparing in advance. I recently switched doctors, and the new doctor informed me that his notes were extremely difficult to interpret, often scrawled on random slips of paper. Long story short--there are equally fantastic but more organized doctors elsewhere in NYC.

I have been treated by Dr. Kornbluth for between 20 and 25 years after having been treated by the Head of Gastroenterology at Mt. Sinai for 30 years. Dr. Kornbluth is both brilliant and compassionate. Whenever i had a flair of my Chrons, he was there for me. I always felt that he is a superb diognostion. Within the last six month he prescribed a new medication and i am now symptom free. He is truly a great doctor and I could not recommend him more highly.

Dr Kornbluth is a most caring, considerate and brilliant doctor. He gives each patient undivided attention and cutting edge care. His devotion and generosity of time is unparalleled. He explains clearly each detail and is always available between appointments to advise and assist. The minute we began care in his office we knew we were in the best hands!!!!

If you want the best gastro doc for Crohn's look no further. Dr. Kornbluth is a great listener and very bright... he has Dr. Crohn's desk in his office and is very well respected. Plan on a 1 hour wait or more, but expect to spend 30-40 minutes with him... you will not regret it. While he takes no insurance his partners do so I use Dr. Lignani for Colonoscopy. They are a great team. Dr. Kornbluth is very responsive with email so communication is great!

Dr. Kornbluth is a wonderful doctor, smart, very up-to-date, caring, totally thorough, thoughtful, personable and with outstanding clinical judgment.

Dr. Kornbluth helped me getting thru the most difficult times when i had my flares; his wisdom & experience is outstanding i do have a very difficult case of crohns, & he never gave up, until he saw me feeling better. he is a doctor who will sacrifice himself for his patients.
