Dr. Arthur Michael Marush, MD

I WAS A PATIENT OF DR. MARUSH FOR POSSIBLY 20 YEARS. I ONLY STOPPED GOING TO HIM FOR THE LAST 5 YEARS BECAUSE I MOVED TO LONG ISLAND AND I AM AFRAID TO DRIVE HIGHWAYS. IF NOT FOR THAT FEAR, HE STILL WOULD BY MY PHYSICIAN. HE IS A VERY INTELLIGENT AND LEARNED PERSON. HE IS ALSO VERY THOROUGH WITH YOUR HEALTH ISSUES. SINCE I AM HERE, MY NEW INTERNIST DOES NOT CHECK A LOT OF THINGS THAT DR. MARUSH DID. FOR EXAMPLE, TESTING FOR OCCULT BLOOD, CHECKING MY THYROID GLAND WHEN YOU SWALLOW, AND IF NEEDED BECAUSE OF ANY DISCREPANCIES IN YOUR HEART HEALTH, AN ECHO CARDIOGRAM OR STRESS TEST OR WEARING A MONITOR. HE DID MY BONE DENSITY TEST IN THE OFFICE. MY BLOOD TESTS WERE DRAWN AT THE OFFICE IF NEEDED. AND IF YOU ASKED HIM A HEALTH QUESTION, HE WOULD ANSWER YOU IN FULL. I HAVE A LOT OF CONFIDENCE IN HIM AND I MISS NOT HAVING AS MY DOCTOR. IF HE IS YOUR DOCTOR, YOU WILL BE VERY LUCKY TO HAVE HIM.

I have been a patient of Dr. Marush for over fifteen years. I have found him to be an excellent doctor that is thorough and conscience of my health. He has returned my calls within a day or two will contact you directly with any significant issues that may be detected with a plan to have them resolved. In the span of that time his back office was horrible with a wait time that required the patience of a saint although it has become better as the years have transpired although still be ready to wait an extra 30 minutes beyond your scheduled visit as well as an additional fifteen minutes as you get shuffled from one exam room to the next until you actually meet Dr. Marush. Dr. Marush takes detailed notes but in a shorthand that is all but impossible to read except for himself hence don’t expect to read what he writes in your chart.

Even though he is a very good doctor, the staff is horrible. They don't answer phones from patients and neither from doctors who are trying to speak to the cardiologist. The place is a nightmare, the staff is rude, incompetent, loses important documents, acts as though they all have brain fogs. Clearly they lack professionalism, have no ambition in their work and have all lost the zeal for working. If they will gossip less and work more, the place would be a success. Wait time is 2 hours. Such a fantastic doctor but getting to him is complete frustration.

Hes a great doctor. He talks to you answer's all questions. Go early in the morning for less of a wait time. Very professional.

Very thorough, warm and personable, after my 45 minute wait, I totally understood why, he's very popular which his patients, because he takes his time to access and address your concerns.He answered everyone of my questions, with ease, no stumbling, I was better able to understand how my body worked, and I was very pleased with the quality of his care - he was worth the wait.I was referred to Dr Marush, and would definitely go back again.

A good, careful doctor. The waiting time during a visit is between interminable and ridiculous.

he has no bedside manners all he is intrested in is sending you for test that are not necessary so he can make money BEWARE of him
