Dr. Arthur Vernon Stringer, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Stringers for over 25 years. Dr. Stringer is very professional, accurate and educational. Dr. Stringer is caring and compassionate. He takes time with his patients. Wonderful bedside manner. I introduced my sister to the practice because she was having female problems. Thank God and Dr. Stringer. My sister was having a major bleeding problem that Dr. Stringer treated. My sister had to have an emergency blood transfusion. She was losing that much blood. My sister thought it was normal because she had always been a heavy bleeder. Dr. Stringer recognized it was a serious issue that needed to be treated and took EXCELLENT care of her and her issue. She is still a patient of the practice. If I had a problem I have always been able to call the office and get an appt. One time I had a fever that probably required a medical Dr instead of my OBGYN Dr. I called the office, an appointment was made immediately (same day) . Dr. Stringer had test done in office. The… results were my ketones were low. Dr. Stringer wanted to hospitalize me. At the time my two young son's were in elementary school and I had to get them off the bus. I opted out of the hospital. Dr. Stringer went to plan B gave me a shot of medicine in the office and made me sit in the office to observe me for a while to make sure the meds didn't have a reaction. I sat in the office and took a nap. I have been to other OBGYN Drs before, during (because of insurance changing) and I am presently a patient of Dr. Stringers and will not leave the practice. Dr. Stringer continues to educate himself in his profession to help his patients. Again the best bedside manner. Dr. Stringer educates his patients with any information he feels the patient should know. Cudos to Dr. Stringer. He is patient, understanding, and very trust worthy. He gives advice like a physician should. Dr. Stringer is the best GYN in North Carolina. God Bless you and your practice Dr. Stringer.

An overall compassionate person.

Very disappointed with the services received. After asking questions answers were sarcastic and condescending. Very poor bedside manner. Lacks compassion. Very poor with followups. After surgery he didn't take the time to thoroughly explain my concerns. Very, very disappointed, and the way I feel now this rating does not even deserve 1 star. If you want a caring, compassionate doctor, this is not the one for you.

Dr. Stringer is a wonderful physician. Took the time to listen and answer questions. Treated me with respect and dignity. Very humble, kind, and soft spoken. I would recommend all my friends to receive prenatal care from him.
