Dr. Arthur Wayne Sudan, MD

Dr Sudan was assigned to me after I asked for another doctor. I wasn’t comfortable with Dr Romano who took Dr Cowart’s office after he retired. For 2 plus yrs I faithfully went to that office for my annual physicals & never saw Dr Sudan, although I did see the Nurse Practitioner. No complaints there, she was ok. I should’ve been able to see a physician at least once due to my advanced age & medical history. I guess I didn’t matter to them. Maybe Dr Sudan is a great doctor. I'll never know…..I never saw him, so my insurance & I went elsewhere. At my age you really want a Dr for life.

I have seen Dr. Sudan since I moved to Waco nine years ago and I am confident with his treatment. The staff is especially friendly and helpful!

When my husband came in with back pain, Dr Sudan asked some questions and ordered an immediate xray, showing problems in the kidney area. This quick action led quickly to other tests and to receive from the oncologist the final diagnosis of lymphoma, which is now in remission due to chemo. Dr. Sudan ' s quick actions led my husband to be successfully treated in time for this aggressive cancer. He has always been understanding and always listens and answers our questions. Thanks so much.

My parent had two separate, unexpected, unrelated, and potentially life threatening trips to the ER within a 7 day span; spending 6 of 7 days in the hospital. A "follow up" appointment was scheduled with Dr. Sudan for the day following release from the hospital. You would think that this would be the time a doctor would be sensitive and available for questions following such a traumatizing experience... My parent suffers with Alzheimer's and at times is unable to reason and ask the essential questions. After answering about 4 of my approximately 10 questions, Dr. Sudan refused to answer any more. Flat out said, "No"! When I asked who I should be directing my questions to, he did not offer any other source other than himself. Through this 2+ year journey of diagnosing my parent as having Alzheimer's and the many doctors we have seen, I have never had an experience such as this. The doctors that we have been to previously were very respectful with my parent and willing to answer… any and all questions my parent or I had. They took the TIME to CARE. Needless to say, we will not be revisiting Dr. Sudan.

I find Dr. Sudan to be very competent and assessable

As a patient for 20 years, I was mistreated, neglected and left to die while calling the office for 7 days about a surgical abdominal obstruction requiring 2 more immediate abdominal surgeries. Prescription requests for basic non-narcotic medicine are ignored and eventually refused. The staff refuses to return the calls to the patient (uh, victim). The entire office staff exhibited haughty contempt for conditions that are easily alleviated. Pharmaceutical treatment of conditions easily researched by the arrogant doctor are ignored. My elderly mother was also neglected and abused by this doctor including snide remarks, denied that he was her doctor when he was, and asked ME what I wanted him to do about it in a certain situation concerning my mother. He calls intelligent, knowledgeable and progressive doctors quacks.Save your sanity, don't waste your time and money.
