Had bad experience with this doctor. Does not have adequate knowledge and is totally inept to suggest proper treatment.

Low empathy towards patients.

The first time I visited Dr. Hatwalkar, the office staff had made a double appointment, thus, they tried to send me home rescheduling my appt. I was very upset and did not leave. Dr. Hatwalkar, although this not being his fault, managed to see me and spend time with me. He referred me to several specialists and requested all necessary blood work. He follows up on his patiens has he did with me; he called me himself to ask how I was feeling with a certain medication. I find Dr. Hatwalkar to be very professional, very attentive, compassionate and caring. I would recommend him without hesitating a fraction of a second!

I went in to see Dr. Arun Hatwalker for an urgent appointment today. I was shoked and dismayed over how I was treated by him and his staff. This man clearly has absolutely no understanding of panic and anxiety disorder and how to approach someone who is having a panic attack. I am too shaken to fully describe the incident but I was treated with disdain and condescension to the point that I left shaking and overcome with tears. No bedside manned whatsoever. I’m seriously considering filing a formal complaint. I highly doubt my call to the hospital administrator did anything. You just can’t treat people like this. You can drive someone in a state of panic to a very dangerous place.

I have worked with this provider and would NOT recommend him to my worst enemy. Not very intelligent, often performs unnecessary tests, terrible bedside manner, horrible with the nurses, and was actually terminated from somewhere for assaulting a nurse. Don't risk your life seeing him.
