Dr. Arun Kumar

Dr. Kumar's care of my father has been incredibly poor. He has mistreated my Mother when she has attended appointments with my Father. His office staff is rude, unhelpful, and unavailable for phone calls at ALL times of normal businesshourse, and they do not return phone calls. Dr. Kumar's wife manages the office, which begs some questions. The only saving grace in the office is the PA, who is kind, understanding, and helpful. I would highly recommend care outside of this office unless you are able to manage ALL of your own neuro care. It saddens me to have to post a review like this, but five years of care under this doctor has created more issues for my family than anyone realizes. For what it is worth, stay away. If you have no choice but to use this office, I highly recommend recording ALL interactions with them. It really is that bad.

Liked him but a little disappointed in office staff and not sure if short of staff or what but not good at getting orders for tests to appropriate people but seem ok otherwise.

Uneducated office staff, goes by the name of China, who can't properly send a referral for tests and actually asks me to call for my own referrals which should be her job. She even lied to me and said the referral was received by someone. I called the place and they said they don't even have a person by that name working there. I went to the office to confront them and they came up with the excuse that the place doesn't take my insurance. I called the place, they do take my insurance and I had to send my own referral and finally got an appointment. They're uneducated and seriously need training on how to do their job. She can't even answer the phone properly. So unprofessional. I was seen by the nurse practitioner. Not even a full diagnosis. And the doctor just repeated what the NP said as I was leaving.

Cash customer because my insurance isn't accepted... which I knew going into the office; however, they can't seem to transmit a simple prescription to the pharmacy. Now I am without the new medication for the holiday. Very disappointed. UPDATE: Now they will not fill it at all. Doctor tells me he's prescribing a medicine during the visit, he tells his staff during my check-out, and after a couple calls and no return calls and a trip to the pharmacy, they said he declined it. ??? (non-narcotic mind you). I had a stroke two months ago and this is how they care for me. Wild. The hospital staff told me this was not a good office. Should have listened.

I have been seeing Dr Kumar for over 10yrs. He has prescribed the right medications for me and ordered MRIs ,lab work and other testing he felt I needed. He is always in a hurry but has lots of patients to see. I recommend him and his office help are very prompt and pleasent .

the dr seems like a dr. the front desk is another issue. eye rolling, sighing, snotty, flippant, mean and generally quite abusive in their actions and words.

The Dr is ok, always seems rushed. The front office staff is terrible! No customer services skills what so ever. You ask questions and you get a snotty response. No thank you. I will take my business else where.

He was very nice and reviewed my info quickly along with my verbal info. He wanted some testing to get a better picture of what may be going on and return after for results and plan.

Doctor & staff are horrible. I would not recommend them to anyone. Doctor treats you like you are waisting his time, never asks how you are feeling or how you are doing and seems perturbed when you insist on telling him what is wrong. Office staff is rude & treats you like second class citizens. Never get refills of medications on time. Doctor offers to prescribe medications that you are already taking because he never looks at your file! He often wants to prescribe medications that have serious side effects or interactions with other medications you are taking. I cannot say enough about the concerns I have with this doctor.
