Dr. Oboh-Weilke is a wonderful and caring doctor but her office staff is not. I have been unable to access prescribed medication because the office staffer responsible for submitting them doesn't follow through. My vision has not improved because I don't have access to prescribed medication.

? email and voicemail one week prior to the procedure to review Rxs. No response ? Did not call Rxs into the pharmacy in time to be ready post op. Critical because they were being mailed and were required the first day ? payments were required for the artificial lens and physician fee separately prior to the procedure. Attempted to call the office but no one ever answers the phone. Led to mass confusion the day of the procedure, to include halting the procedure while I was on the operating table until my daughter (transportation) could provide a credit card ? required Rx for dry eye post-op. Once insurance denied, Julia didn’t find an alt to include the manufactures direct-to-prescriber benefit, or an alt pharmacy per web site guidance. When attempting to address with Dr. Oboh, Julia claimed that she had exhausted those methods. Never got the needed medication ? cut my cornea during surgery, apparently it was ‘my fault’ due to my legs moving while sedated. Surgery center had no… lower body restraints ? provided a ‘sample’ of eye ointment for dry eye symptoms that had been used by other patients! ? poor communication skills, exacerbated by English not being primary language ? I cannot imagine being an elderly patient having to navigate this amount of dysfunction. With so many alternatives, choose another provider!
