Dr. Arvin George, MD

I had dealings with Dr George as a patient with psa of 6 and Gleason score of 3+4 low grade. His only recommendations were for the "standard of care" options: removal or radiation. I told him I was not interested in either option and asked about Tulsa-Pro. Then he changed the subject to a radiation referral and used my biopsy tissue to prescribe an expensive decipher test not covered by insurance without my explicit approval. I did not want any chemical castration options which is the reason for the test. I am pleased with the option I chose of using Tulsa-Pro at York PA. It is now covered by insurance and recovery results are awesome. No. Dribbles No ED. They did ablate about half of the prostate (the entire left lobe). If any cancer recurs it can be repeated and does not preclude other options which would be appropriate for higher Gleason cancers.

Dr George is an outstanding physician. Very responsive, spends as much time as needed and answers all questions thoroughly and so you can understand. I feel blessed that he provided my care.

Listens well. Communicates even better. Extremely knowledgeable and professional. Removal of Prostate due Prostate Cancer. Nerve sparing robotic surgery. Everything went as described and planned. So happy with him as my surgeon.
