Dr. Asad Hussain, MD

AVOID! This doctor needs to be reported for malpractice. 15 minute appointments, all he does is refill medications without asking any questions, then he rebooks you next month. Unprofessional, unethical, and his lack of “care” caused me to have a seizure. This could’ve been avoided had he done his job. My current doctor said it was a “ridiculous strong cocktail of meds” he had me on- 16 pills total per day, and now I’m on 2 and feeling better. Again, ridiculous. They also charge your card without permission, have a phone number that doesn’t work, and communicate only through email (days later). I strongly encourage you to seek help elsewhere.

Disorganized and unprofessional staff.

I initially chose Dr. Asad based on his positive reviews and his attentive approach during the first encounter. However, after the intake, the experience took a turn for the worse. Dr. Asad seemed to lose the personal touch, treating me more like a number than a patient with ADHD who needed time to process and discuss symptoms thoroughly. His staff, Bebe and Naomi, communicated solely through text, creating frustration when trying to retrieve basic appointment information. Naomi’s delayed responses and lack of accountability exacerbated the situation, resulting in a convoluted discussion that left me feeling upset and unheard. To my surprise, an automated message eventually confirmed my appointment, contradicting Naomi’s previous claims. Despite the confusion, Dr. Asad labeled me verbally aggressive without addressing the underlying issues, a troubling response that lacked understanding and resolution. Moreover, Dr. Asad’s knowledge of ADHD appeared questionable, as he prescribed a… medication regimen I had previously informed him was ineffective. This, coupled with the overall negative experience, led me to reconsider continuing services with his practice. For those seeking comprehensive mental health support with competent administrative staff, I would advise looking elsewhere, as my encounter highlighted a lack of expertise and sensitivity in dealing with a vulnerable population.

Dr. Hussain is an outstanding psychiatrist. I've been struggling with "trial and error" approaches to depression and anxiety for over 15 years and was beyond frustrated that nothing seemed to work. From my initial appointment, he put me at ease, was patient, and answered all my questions. His treatment recommendations were very successful, and continue to be. I wish I had found Dr. Hussain sooner, and am thankful to have him as my doctor. Highly recommend.

Dr. Hussain & his staff were EXTREMELY friendly, courteous, and helpful. As a first time patient, I was expecting to have to wait a while for my initial appointment, (which would have been fine), but they seemed to make it a point to get me in as fast as possible, and they did. The dr. and his staff genuinely seemed to want to get me the help i needed, and they did. Wouldnt reccomend any other psychyatrist.

Outstanding experience. Easy to schedule, staff answered my call at 9 pm on a Saturday.
