Takes you off meds gives you what they want not what’s needed Filed complaint with board of psychiatry, daughter withdrawaling now after 7 years with this place. They don’t care about the patient

I don’t know why I’ve stayed. I’ve now submitted a complaint to Texas Board of Psychiatry. I’ve been a patient for approximately 6 years. 4 different psych Drs. Now they have quit giving me anything at all cold turkey bc I smoke a little weed at night. I did inpatient, maintained a job and my own apartment for last year. Now this office has ruined everything I’ve worked for. So yes very poor place to go. They do not care about YOU. It is all about that DOLLAR

No assessment, he will not listen, immediately takes you off all meds by other doctors including thyroid, blood pressure and liver enzymes prescribed for the rest of my life by specialists. His temper fit caused a him to misdiagnose and he will not allow you to see your own physician or go to a hospital when my blood pressure shot up to 190s because of force feeding opioids and other meds. He told me I must give you a follow up but I never want to see you again. A rigged system between poor city procedures for Denton police, fire and social workers forcefully handling you based on an alcoholic’s word to get you out of your own home he did not own. No prior history and no threat to self harm. They said I was on pills but were vitamins my gastroenterologist said could not possibly harm but help. No prior history or history since of any mental illness. My other regular doctor said the diagnosis was impossible and would have taken years to develop. Would not let me have a phone book or my… own clothing. The place is a prison and they illegally took my CHL and I scored 100 on the written and excellent on the range test. It was a set up to assault my character and was physically threatening. I have never been arrested and the worst thing on my record is one minor traffic violation. They violated all my rights for proper medical care and would not give me a copy of patient rights or my own attorney. They need to be investigated by the State Attorney General and Medical Boards. This should not happen in America.

I’ve been seeing him for 8 months and I don’t know why I didn’t leave sooner. He took me off a medication cold turkey that you are never supposed to do that for. He was running late in his appointments because he overbooks himself double or triple and messed up. I almost died because I became so suicidal. I consistently have waited hours for my appointments and while he is a nice guy, his schedule is too busy and is putting his patients in danger.

Needs to do better diagnosis explaining it ...

My first appointment was last year and I have been a returning patient at this office. I love the people working here. The staff is very helpful. They are practical and friendly. I have seen them get little edgy around really rude and disrespectful customers. The doctor is great and has helped me go through and come out of a bad shape to a much better self. Thank you!!!!! He's terrible. He doesn't listen, and if you're inpatient at Mayhill (like me), he will treat you like you know nothing, especially if he's never been your doctor before. He wouldn't let me take my ADHD medicine while I was in the hospital, and was very rude when I spoke to him about my need for an increase on my anxiety medication, since I was having panic attacks so often while in the hospital, and my anxiety was always fluctuating between 5 and 10 (on a 1-10 scale), and I was only on 0.25mg Klonopin three times a day for my anxiety, which was not enough. Every time I talked to him, he looked at me like I was a failed science experiment, and made me feel very uncomfortable in the 5 minutes or less that we talked per day. I was so glad to get out of that hospital, there is a lot of patient on patient abuse allowed (which I went through) and negligence in compliance among the staff.

I believe Ms. Hayes has taken interest in my well-being. She has been open to change or fine-tune my meditation regimen. If asked a year ago whether I would grade your office staff's performance as poor. Currently, I give it high praise. I hope that Ms. Hayes will continue as my therapist.

Zero wait time. I was seen at my scheduled time. I called to get an appointment as a new patient and only had to wait a week. He was highly recommend by a social worker and that person was correct.

my son was hit by a car while walking in street in a lethargic state due to doctor staff being unresponsive to his previous request for medication refill and appointment. Even in the emergency room they neglected to provide the prescription medication information
