Dr. Asghar is RUDE AND MEAN. Dr. Asghar Oliai, MD is RUDE! I mean RUDE! Stay Away From This Doctor. I had a test done, and showed polyp and he said that there's nothing wrong with me, I tried to explain that it shows on the test result, he insist nothing is wrong. He kept on insisting nothing is wrong and he doesn't want to help me find any medication for it. And HANGS UP ON ME! He made me cry from his RUDENESS!!! May, 2019

Upon meeting Dr Oliai ,he came across very disinterested and agitated. As I was attempting to tell him my symptoms he repeatedly interrupted me, was very agressive with tone of voice, and when I asked for clarification on what he was saying he would say " Are you not listening!?" I had difficulty understanding his broken English. Which made it difficult to follow what he said. After giving him my symptoms, he immediately refers me to get an edocscopy and colonoscopy, and then he said that at 340 lbs it would be impossible for him to treat whatever I had. He then stated that I would never be able to lose weight on my own and that I needed surgery. So if you can't treat what I have unless I lose weight, then why continue further testing? The front desk lady is very unprofessional as well, she tells me that the doctors where Dr Oliai referred me to were upset with him because I didn't show up to my appointment and that Dr Oliai was upset with me as well.. I didnt show up to my… appointment. Definitely not something you should say to a client. Dr Oliai looks about 80 years old and looks as if he can barely walk and maybe that's part of the reason he treats patients the way he does. But if you're that tired, quit! Needless to say, I will NEVER come back here again!

My 17 year old daughter has had stomach pain for over a month. She seen about 5 different doctors who ALL said it’s probably constipation. Dr. Oliai saw her and within seconds said she has a hernia. For some reason the ultrasound didn’t see it but he was convinced that was the problem. He ordered a ct scan the next day which confirmed a hernia. Then Dr. Oliai made a referral for a surgeon and her surgery is scheduled for next week. He was so kind and nice i wish he could be our primary doctor !!!

he is one of the awful doctor that I have seen in my life he miss diagnosed me after I was in pain for two weeks he was telling me go to exercise and he was telling me that you pulled your muscle. I told him I haven't done anything wrong and 2 weeks in pain is not usual. please give me some medicine to come me down. he didn't and after I pushed him a lot he gave me sonogram but because of the pain I went to ER the next day and I've rushed to surgery room and I removed my infected gallbladder . DO NOT GO TO HIM

Don't go to this dr specially if you are a woman!!

I cannot believe this doctor. I try very hard to be succinct and organized when I see a new doctor and am not a drama queen. He asked me what brought me to him and cut me off almost immediately and quite rudely, with a dismissive and impatient gesture. Asked me the standard questions which I had already been asked by my PCP and then concluded with absolute certainty that my periodic very severe gastric distress was due to my "swallowing air"- this caused by "stress"!!! When I attempted to tell him that I am really not under stress, and that the condition is entirely episodic- no telling when or why it occurs-he again cut me off as if I were a child-or should I say "little woman". The only thing he seemed REALLY interested in was writing me an order for a Colonoscopy (which is indeed needed) and getting me out of his office. He never examined me, nor was blood pressure taken-only weight. Upon thinking about this visit I came to the conclusion that I do not want this man to probe me… anywhere-EVER, and have taken steps with my insurance to find another doctor to help me. I will not be keeping the Colonoscopy appointment with him, even though this delays my care. One more puzzling thing is that he seems to practice under Dr. Asghar A. Oliai AND Dr. Ali A. Oliai---why would that be???

I agree with the other reviews, I had the same experience with this joke of a doctor. He asks you questions but does not give you the chance to answer them, constantly cutting you off. I didn't know this ahead of time but when you meet him you realize the Dr. is around 75 years old and is barely able to function. I could not understand what he was saying when he was speaking, I'm sure English is not his first language. He made outrageous statements like how an MRI cost $50,000. His new patient forms don't have a portion where you write in the meds you are taking and what medical conditions you have. I can see how this can lead to severe problems down the line. His staff is just as worse, the woman at the front desk is very rude and has no customer service skills

As i attempted to describe my symptoms, dr oliai interrupted me..numerous times..and refused to allow me to explain the circumstances that led to my visit with him. he decided that because i am on morphine for a diseased spine that i am an addict and that i needed 30 days detox before he could do an endscopy and colonoscopy. i got angry and stormed out of his office...he followed me and scared me back into his office by telling me i was toxic and going to die! he sent me to the er...their scans and readings showed that i was not in a state of emergency. i was crying in his office as he yelled at me and told me how sick i am. it was traumatic. after being scanned at the er, he tried to haggle me down from a 30 day hospital stay to a 3 day stay. of course, i left and will be getting a new gastro dr asap!

When I got to his office at 3:50PM when I thought my appointment was,Dr.s office door was locked but I could hear the reception inside. I called office and said I am here but door is locked. Her response was, we dont make appointment this late! I said I am only late 15 minutes, her response was again we dont make appointment this late!. No matter what I said I got exact the same response. I asked her may be instead of repeating the rode comment she should check my appointment to see what is the problem. Her response was we dont make appointment this late on Tuesdays getting frustrated and hearing her from behind the door I said may be you ask my name and at least check it, she asked my name and immediately told me I do not have any appointment for any time any day with this office. I said I got this address and phone # when I called and made appointment about 2 weeks ago, is there any other office? Her response: No.My authorization for treatment has been sent to this office by my… primary doctor and MSI, I asked her to check see if she has the authorization. She refused to do claiming it would take time. I was very upset and told her maybe instead of locking door at 3:30, she should talk to patient behind door trying to find out what went wrong but she said quote: the door is locked and will not be open! and you are rode to me , go somewhere else, change your doctor and hang up.

I saw Dr. Oliai for my liver disease - he was very caring - spent lots of time with me and helped me get my treatment covered by insurance
