Dr. Asha Susan Muthalaly, MD

Usha is the rudest doctor I've ever dealt with! My wife is pregnant with sever pain on her MTP joint under the toe. We went to her office 5 minutes earlier than the appointment time but they refused to let us in because they considered my wife as new patient not as an established patient. I told them that we spoke with Dr. Zhang earlier (as a telemedicine appointment) in October 2025, so my wife is an established patient with them. Despite all of this, they canceled her appointment and scheduled us as new patient for June 2026 (after 5 months!!) when my wife will be ready to deliver the baby!! All I can say about Usha and her nurse and front desk staff is a complete rudeness, disrespect, and poor bedside manners. If you want to gain the trust and respect of your patients, you need to deal with them with more professionalism, humanity, and respect which you obviously severely lack!! Please guys, do yourself a favor and avoid Usha and her medical staff!!

I have been seeing many doctors and specialists over the years and have been dealing with joint pain, rashes and abnormal blood counts and she finally put things together to give me a diagnosis of Lupus. She has been treating me for the past 2 years and this is the best I have felt in years. Highly recommended!

This was BY FAR my worst doctor's experience EVER! After waiting almost 6 months to see this doctor, the office had my appointment time incorrect! When I arrived, they said the doctor was on her lunch break, even though the paperwork from her office CONFIRMED my appointment time. After agreeing to see me, the doctor RUSHED through 7 years of tests, lab results, scans, and notes from specialty centers like Johns Hopkins (MD), Albert Einstein (NY), Mt. Sinai (NY), George Washington University (DC), Fibromyalgia Center (Mass), and more! She kept INSISTING that my diagnosis was Fibromyalgia and she knew because of where she studied! I KEPT insisting it was NOT fibromyalgia because my inflammation markers were thru the ROOF and much more! Upon leaving, I asked when should I schedule a follow-up appointment, she responded QUITE curtly by saying, "Come in as YOU deem necessary." Lastly, she order 27 different blood tests, I never received a call, email, or anything concerning the… aforementioned! I had to go to her office to get the results but the doctor wouldn't provide me with an analysis of my results! HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE!!!!!

I went to her with knee problems that I have endured for years. She did a complete workup with me to determine what the next step should be. She referred me to a surgeon for consult and now, after 1 total knee replacement (2nd one soon), I feel she has made a difference in my life. Instead of just trying new meds and sending me on my way, she knew I needed more and initiated the steps to correct some of my pain issues. She is great and I highly recommend her!
