Asha Rizzo, NP

Asha A. Rizzo, MSN, FNP-C, C-EFM, is a nurse practitioner specializing in obstetrics and gynecology. She felt called to this field because she believes in providing quality, comprehensive care to underserved patient populations. She specializes in women’s health, managing the care and treatment of obstetrical and gynecological patients from adolescence to advanced age. Her services include preventive care, birth control counseling, family planning, prenatal and postpartum management, perimenopause, menopause, hormone replacement therapy and management of chronic illness and disease. Asha earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Maryville University in St. Louis, Mo. She received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Denver College of Nursing in Denver, Colo., and a Bachelor of Science in Health and Psychological Studies from Keene State College in N.H. Asha also holds electronic fetal monitoring (C-EFM) and inpatient obstetric nursing (RNC-OB) certifications. Before becoming …a family nurse practitioner, she worked as a certified inpatient obstetric nurse, which included working on a labor and delivery unit, caring for antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum patients, newborns and assisting with lactation. She’s a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
