Dr. Ashish Mahajan, MD

Dr. Ashish Mahajan Nephrology is a great doctor. He knows his patients and what there medical conditions are. Dr. Ashish Mahajan has treated me for more than 10 years. He has seen me in the office, hospital and in dialysis. I have no complaints about my care.

The practice switched me to Dr Mahajan after my primary care physician was injured and had to take a lighter load. I was very pleasantly surprised at the level of interest Dr Mahajan took in my medical situation. He did not simply read the chart and go with it; he checked things out for himself. As this visit involved bloodwork that revealed a new condition for me, he took ALL the time I needed to feel comfortable that all my questions were answered clearly and thoroughly. He then followed up by phone twice with more information relevant to my situation. Here again, the phone conversations were pleasant and unrushed, but thorough and informative. He answered all my questions thoroughly.He made referrals to two specialists (only 1 of whom I have been able to see as yet) and here again thgis was highly satisfactory - thorough, informative, and pleasant.I cannot recall a better interaction with a physician in my adult life.
