The meanest, most pretentious, cranky, judgmental horrible doctor I’ve ever seen! He never put in a request for the blood work & tests as promised & then finally after being super sick all summer I had to beg my other doctor who’s no a gastro to order the proper testing since he never did. When I messaged him, it took over a week for even a reply and then he had the audacity to say he didn’t see the results for the tests (that are in my chart), because he didn’t bother to actually look. He’s rude, cold, has the WORST bedside manner I’ve ever dealt with ever. It’s scary and uncomfortable enough going to a gastroenterologist; this man makes it pure torture. Run like hell away from this man. It’s a paycheck for him; he does not take the oath of do no harm seriously. Dealing with a Robot would’ve been less traumatic and more efficient.

This dr and his office never call you with test results. They make you wait for months on end. Don’t bother calling his staff for help because they are just as bad at getting back to you!!

Excellent Doctor

I'm sure a well educated doctor, however, in a diagnosis of myself on the subject of peptic ulcers that I've had for 45 years and two operations his advice to me was the exact opposite of the general surgeons advice. He mentioned that my stomach would not return to normal size after being cut in half, and also said that the cause of my stomach aches from drinking soda pop was from the stretching of the stomach. My surgeons said that the soda pop irritated my stomach walls and that my stomach would return back to normal size after surgery. Start eating 7 meals a day and as the stomach stretches it will return to normal cavity and back to 3 meals a day. Dr. Mlhotra was working for the VA when I saw him, and I think this interferes with his thought making decisions. He is catering to the VA who pays him and not his fellow surgeons.
