Horrible bed side manner. Definitely not going back to him!!!

I am a first time mom and was in postpartum when Davis was our doctor on call. He was very insensitive to my baby’s needs and neglected to take the steps needed to help her because he was busy blaming me for leaving out information about my health as a baby and assuming I must have had problems as a baby and passed them to my daughter. He also didn’t follow up on bilirubin tests and follow proper procedure for phototherapy that are required when a baby needs to be in the LED lights. This potentially lead my newborn to be brought down to the NICU for three days. Another thing that was insensitive and poor bedside manner was calling my daughter “it”. He never referred to her as “her” or “your baby” or by her name. His overall tone made me feel like my daughter was in grave danger with her health and that I might lose her after only having her for 2 days but he never communicated what we could do, he would just walk out the door after saying he doesn’t know what to do or “this is very… bad”.

If you need to know why you shouldn't see this dr we can tell you. Pick a good dr that believes in kids doesn't anise them.

We had twins who had to be transferred to Roanoke. Dr Davis was a blessing!

Dr Davis and clinic staff saved our childs life! We could not be more greatful!
