Dr. Ashley Lynn Gubbels, MD

Avoid this doctor. She is unethical and does not have required surgery experience. She couldn't able to remove a simple uterine fibroid which any other surgeon could have easily removed and more importantly she lied, hide the fact and communicated it was removed when indeed it wasn't. I understand we all are human and surgery sometime might not go as expected but lying to your patients, hiding and misguiding patients shows the true surgeon standards. She was Strong Hospital, Rochester, NY when this happened and I would suggest to NOT go for any surgery with her and avoid this doctor, shame on her to be called as Robotic surgeon and OBGYN

Dr. Gubbels was by far one of the most professional physicians I have ever worked with and had care for me. She delivered my son nearly 3 years ago after a long and non-progressing labor. She offered the option to attempt a forceps delivery as an alternate option to a cesarean section. After the birth she followed me closely and continues to be my OB/GYN.

Hands down my favorite doctor. She is absolutely amazing and caring. She was able to diagnose and successfully treat me when others had failed to do so for over ten years. My gusvand and I have a wonderful baby boy thanks to the outstanding care that Dr. Gubbels gave me.

This doctor delivered my granddaughter. She did not adequately assess patient input, care staff from previous shift, nor input from other medical personnel after 30 hours of a high leak in amniotic sack, unproductive contractions and no dilation with 24 hours of pitocin. Refusal to decide for a Csection at that point, quickly became an emergency due to the intentional rupturing of the water and loss of fetal heart rate reception. There was no good reason to push an already exhausted, feeling "failed" momma to this brink. Sometimes compassion should trump textbook or military protocol. Also --this doc never returned again to check on my daughter, or her child, or the incision after the birth. Shamefully unprofessional.
