Dr. Ashley Nicole Lentine, MD

After waiting hours to speak with a physician about uncontrolled pain and a lack of communication regarding my treatment plan, I was met with one of the most disrespectful and degrading interactions I have ever experienced from a healthcare provider. When I questioned why a medication that had been helping me was discontinued, Dr. Ashley Lentine told me, "You're just getting high” I was not demanding any specific medication—I was simply asking for my pain to be managed and for someone to explain the plan of care. Instead, I was treated with hostility, judgment, and a complete lack of compassion. A physician's job is not only to make medical decisions but also to communicate with patients professionally and respectfully. I left that conversation feeling humiliated, dismissed, and afraid to advocate for myself. Regardless of the treatment plan, no patient should ever be spoken to in this manner. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Dr. Ashley Lentine to anyone seeking… compassionate, respectful, patient-centered care.
