Did not review my medical history or chart well enough prior to seeing me. Very ill informed. Not up to date on my care/treatment status. I was not treated as an individual who doesn't 100% fit into the box because of having a certain dx. Simply followed an algorithm and found a simple/unnecessary lab test to order. Truly only see this provider because WellSpan and insurance insist a PCP is needed. This provider adds no value to my health and it's a waste of time seeing her annually. WellSpan appreciates my copay/insurance payment though.

Listened to my concerns and explained things to me.

Dr. Parks has been the best PCP I've ever dealt with. She took time to actually listen to me and asked questions. Never once did I feel rushed in the appointment.

Dr.Parks in an excellent Doctor. She listens to you and genuinely seems to care. She isn't rushed. Last year my husband and I had to find a new primary provider when our previous pcp office closed it's York office. I went to that doctor for over 20 years so I was nervous about making a change. I have to say I am so glad that Hayshire (Dr. Parks) took us on as new patients. She is so caring and I feel very comfortable with her and trust her medical expertise. She has also always responded promptly to my husband when he has reached out through the portal. We appreciate everything she has done for us.

Dr. Ashley Parks is a very relational Dr. She connects and explains things very well and is thorough. She is a good teacher too. I have never felt like her mind is elsewhere and I really appreciate her expertise. She makes it easy to advocate for oneself by listening and then filling in gaps with compassion and knowledge.
