Dr. Ashley Miller Perrott

She has been my M.D. for a while. I spend most of my time avoiding Salem Family Medicine. She doesn’t listen to your concerns nor does she care. I went for a really bad episode of GERD and was given 15cc of Mylanta!!! I called prior to presenting and specifically asked if they had the pink digestive cocktail. I was told they did. Even though I mentioned it to her nurse Carol and Dr. Perrott, I was ignored and wasn’t informed that they did not have it!!! I was still very ill when they took me to the lab where I was left sitting spitting up. I walked out and found a more competent doctor with a 5 star rating. My health has been poor since I was assigned to her after my favorite doctor left the practice. She needs some additional education in “bedside manners “. No doctor should do what they want to do to a patient. According to the patients bill of rights I have a right to participate in my care. She does anything to get you out the door.

Sick visit with Dr. Perrott. Very thorough in trying to find a solution to my pain and other problems. Miss having her as my PCP. Excellent service as always. Most everyone at this practice is nice.

Great, caring doctor. I have been a patient for four and a half years. Recently helped me through a very trying time in my life. Listened to what I had to say, then did their standard test. Put me on medication and then followed up twice since. I did not get to see her on my last visit, a very busy doctor, probably because she is one of the best at Salem Family Medicine.

I have been seeing Dr. Perrott about 3 years now and could not be happier. It takes time to build relationships with a Doctor, just like it does with anyone else. She is not a pill pusher(that is why some people are not happy), she is detailed and listens. Please do not listen to the bad reviews and give her a try if you are looking for a caring doctor.

Bad Doctor. Lazy, incompetent, and that is being nice. Four physicals, all fully clothed. I am an older individual with many aches and pains and other health issues. My last physical it was 10 degrees outside and I had on a thermal shirt, t-shirt, long sleeves shirt and sweater on. Dr. Perrott listened to my heart and lungs with all this on. Refused to look at my swollen ankles, blue and purple blood vessels about to burst, skin check for mole changes. She looked at my throat, she said for tonsil changes, although they were taken out years ago, when I was a child. No checking of my lymph nodes, groin, hernia or prostate. Will not refill my medications because I missed my "physical" last year. A physical with her and other providers at this practice is a joke. Although, I saw her several times in the past year along with two other PA's for multiple problems. Avoid this provider, poor service. Takes days to get appointment and if you are feeling better, she will waltz out of the room… saying I don't have to do anything, because you fixed your own problem. Like I said, she is LAZY AND INCOMPETENT!! She should not have a license to practice medicine.

Spends plenty of time listening to my needs

Minimal wait time, both in lobby and exam room. Not very through in the exam, maybe a dislike for male patients. I've made three appointments for my boyfriend with her and he never gets what he came after, this time a script for Viagra or Cialis. She refuses to do male exam(prostate). Can't prescribe certain drugs, he, however likes her and will continue to see her unless I can find him a better doctor. They all seem the same these days.
