Dr. Ashley Hawkins Stewart

I had a HORRIBLE experience here! To begin with, this was my first procedure of this type and I had asked the receptionist repeatedly when making the appointment if my procedure was going to occur during the initial visit. I was told that it wouldn’t occur until the second visit, and the first visit was a consultation. That ended up not being the case. Dr. Stewart should have rescheduled the procedure, especially knowing what I had been told and how uncomfortable I was. Instead, she pressured me in having the procedure done that day. I guess she didn't want to sacrifice her time and money by waiting. A word of caution: prepare yourself to be examined and potentially have to undergo invasive procedures, even if told otherwise when you schedule your appointment. Also, there was a lack of follow-up care. During my follow-up appt. a week later I wasn't examined to see how I was healing. When my PCP examined me two days after my follow-up appointment with Dr. Stewart, he was VERY… concerned about how bruised I was. Finally, I wasn't impressed with how Dr. Stewart talked to me. She basically spoke to me like I wasn't very intelligent, which I didn't appreciate. I was so uncomfortable with my experience here that I ended up canceling my 3-month follow-up appointment. I always research and read reviews before visiting a new doctor, and I did this before seeing Dr. Stewart. She had such great reviews that it makes my experience with her even more unsettling. It is my hope that my review helps other women in making an informed decision about their medical care so they will not have to go through the same kind of experience.

Dr Stewart is the best. Her staff is awesome. Susan is the best. Wish I lived closer. She would be my go to for everything.

The office hours do not coincide with the days/hours on the websites. It is very hard to leave a voicemail or get in touch with someone right away. Not very impressed with the follow-up or treatment following surgery.
