Dr. Ashok Poluri, MD

His way or the highway is not the way I want my family member treated... I expect a physician in charge of patient care to take into account patient-specific history and concerns raised by family members and address them in a prompt professional fashion. Another reviewer mentioned a perception of an anger management issue which I do not disagree with. Caveat emptor.

Didn't appreciate the care nor the treatment. He appears to have enough knowledge of rare diseases, or how to handle them with medications. I do not recommend and he seems to have an anger issue. Take caution with this physician

Dr. Poluri, I would recommend this doctor to my own children, whom I cherish. Dr. Poluri appears to be a great doctor who truly cares about his work and his patience. Dr. Poluri could have lost his respect for me since I truley have give him a hard time since I started with him. I suppose I went in with a chip on my shoulder the first and second visit. You see, I have had some really bad experiences with doctors whom I won't mention. And, I had just moved to fl. I was treated awful and for no good reason at all. I mean at all.By those other doctors However, Dr. Poluri has been a perfect gentleman and has treated me with respect that I feel I have earned. Dr poluri takes time to talk with me about all my health issues and referrs when needed. He is considrate, respectful, honest, and makes sure his patience are following the Patients rules/rights. If you have not done what you and the doctor have agreed to in the patient plan of care, he will sternly let you know that he will not… take a patient who does not follow the recommendations discussed in your treatment plan of care. I truely respect this doctor for the way he has handled himself with someone like me that had a chip on her shoulder about doctor's. Dr. Poluri has gracefully removed my chip as I have come to learn that not all doctors are alike. I would like to Thank Dr. Poluri sincerely and let him know he and the work he does are respected by me. A retired Social Worker.Godspeed. p.s. I have been going to Dr. Poluri's office for about the past six months. He is a wonderful, caring doctor and has always gone the extra mile to try to provide solutions. Always takes the time to listen and gives helpful, practical suggestions to relieve my pain. He has never made me feel bad when I ask for help and has worked with me to find the most cost effective way to treat my issues. Also, he supports natural measures for pain management as opposed to just medication.If you are experiencing acute or chronic pain, I highly recommend you pay him a visit. Also, the ladies in his office are very nice,polite and helpful as well. You can tell they enjoy working for him. If you have a problem between appointments, they make sure he gets his messages in a timely fashion and he calls back himself to try to help. I would definitely recommend this practice to anyone who requires pain management.
