Dr. Rai is great! He very personable. Our appointments are filled with medical knowledge and jokes. I highly recommend Dr. Rai.

Just had my two year follow up with Dr Rai for a surgery procedure he did to fix a hernia that developed from a DiVinci robot aided removal of my prostate. Because of COVID issues not being able to get an operatory the hernia grew to the size of softball. I was out of the hospital in less than 2 days and have been fine ever since. Dr Rai is a kind and carrying person and never appears to be rushed.

Dr. Rai was recommended by another surgeon due to the complexity of my surgery for two hernias. He was able to use the robotic tools resulting in minimal invasion and a rapid recovery. He is an excellent surgeon and also is the best I have ever had with follow ups. One month later he removed a port, a minor procedure, with no complications and excellent follow up as well.

Dr. Rai is very thorough and has a great bedside manner. He enjoys what he does and it shows. He will tell jokes to help put you at ease (and because he likes to) and he explains what he is doing (or needs to do) in language that you can understand (as we are not all PhD's). I have used him once for an appendicectomy 8 years ago and this year right before lockdown for an absess. I would highly recommend calling Dr. Rai if you need surgery.

Dr. Rai, made my Husband and my self very comfortable. He actually went out to the lobby to get my husband. Dr. Rai wanted him to hear what was going on with me. Dr Rai explained the surgery very well. He told me exactly what he would do. He showed me pictures of other surgeries. And answered any other questions I might have. He spoke with my each of the other Doctors involved in getting me ready for Surgery. He has keep a close eye on me since and continues to watch my progress. I would recommend Dr. Rai to all my friends He is Awesome!!!

Dr. Rai is an outstanding physician. Unlike most doctors, he doesn't hurry to the next appointment. I've never encountered a medical professional as caring as Dr. Rai. He spent about an hour explaining the hernia repair procedure, and he used cutting edge technology on me. My recovery was quick, with minimal pain and no complications. I highly recommend him! Dr. Rai is a surpassingly wonderful surgeon!
