I've been taking my son to see Dr. Verras since he was a baby (he's now eight years old). Dr. Verras is kind, thorough and a good listener. He takes all concerns seriously but doesn't jump to conclusions. He also has a lot of common sense and practical wisdom from his years of experience. I feel lucky to have him as a pediatrician.

Dr. Verras spent virtually no time with our newborn son. At the one-week checkup, he misdiagnosed thrush and then hurried out of the exam room without even taking minute to explain the condition. His bedside manner in the hospital the morning after my wife's 16 hour labor and emergency C-section was even worse. He barged in at around 5am, flipped on the lights, spent about 2 brusque minutes with my son and then left. Calling it "bedside" is even a bit of a reach. Needless to say, we found a *much* better practice in Decatur. I'm astonished that he has as many positive reviews as he does.

I like how Dr. Verras visited me and my newborn in the hospital. I highly recommend Dr. Verras to anyone. Dr. Verras has always been correct with any diagnosis.

Dr. Verras is a top notch doctor who is still seeing my boys who are well into their teen years.

We have been using Dr. Verras and his staff for over 13 years and we absolutely love him and his staff. No matter how sick my daughter may be or what day or what time of day it is, Dr. Verras will see my daughter to be sure she is okay. My daughter really loves him. She knows that when she's sick or not feeling so well that he will know right away how to treat her. He is such a dedicated and wonderful man. He is quite educated and knowlegeable about his work in the care of his patients. God really blessed us with finding Dr. Verras. My docter used Dr. Verras for his children and that has been the best doctor referral I have ever experienced. I love the staff too. They are always helpful to set appointments and get paperwork done that my daughter may need for school and sports. Great doctor!!!

My children are 13 and 12. Dr. Verras has taken care of them since birth. I refer everyone I know to Dr. Verras.
