Ather Siddiqi, MD

Dr. Ather Siddiqi is board certified in both radiation oncology and internal medicine.  He earned his bachelor of arts in biochemistry at UT-Austin.  He then went on to start his medical education at UT Health Science Center in San Antonio and subsequently completed an internal medicine residency at UTMB - Galveston.  He further went on to specialize in the field of radiation oncology once again at UT Health Science Center in San Antonio.Dr. Siddiqi is proud to be a part of a multi-disciplinary team that provides accessible, state-of-the-art care at the Dan L. Duncan Comprehensive Cancer Center at St. Luke's Health The Woodlands Hospital.  The synergy between medical oncology and radiation oncology, along with social workers, dieticians, and counselors allows the optimization of the patient's medical needs and expedites their careHe believes that taking care of his patients is the greatest honor and responsibility, and the relationship that he has built with his patients is motivation …for him to excel everyday.  Dr. Siddiqi has a patient-focused philosophy, which helps him develop strong bonds, openness, and trust with his patients and their families.  Believing in the importance of helping patients understand their diagnosis, he creates a collaborative roadmap for their treatment plan and strives to empower them with a wealth of knowledge.
