Dr. Atinuke Abidemi Ogunlade-Addams

I’ve seen Dr Adamms a few times in the past couple of months and I think she is wonderful. She listens. She offers real help. She is compassionate. I suffer from Panic Disorder and Agoraphobia and feel hope for the first time in a long time.

6 visits, double billed, then harassed for more money with a office that had constantly changing new hired staff from the front desk to accounts, staff that said they couldn't give me my own itemized billing statement because "they didn't know how to do that, they were new", or staff that were never available and never called you back. First appointment, they didn't even bother to share with me that their new office had moved to a new location. I will never go back.

I was in desperate need of therapy and help and it was more important to her billing dept to charge me for an appointment i was never scheduled for so now i cant get the help i need!

i would never go back to Doctor Adams. She didn't want to hear what I had to say and my child wasn't getting any better, instead my child was getting worse. I would call Doctor Adams under a emergency situation and it would take hours and sometimes days be for she would even get back to me. This was a on going situation that's been going on for about a year. The way she told me that she couldn't help me and my child was by saying, "i am going to fire you and u need to go some place else."

Dr. Addams is an awesome Dr that holds you accountable for your own recovery. She is very knowledgable and does a great job in addiction. She cares and is not a "drug dealer" like some Dr's, I feel lucky to have her as my Dr!

Dr Addams is a great psychiatrist. She takes the time to listen, and she actually listens and adjusts treatment based on your feedback. She won't just put you on meds and call it a solution, she listens to your other problems, and gives non-medicine based approaches. i.e. have you tried relaxation techniques, and she refers you to counselors that she feels will work best with you. I have never met a psychiatrist that I have trusted until her. To give an example of how great a doctor she is, I drive an hour out of my way each visit, instead of seeing someone closer, she is that good. The wait time can be long at times, but it usually reasonable. I also recognize, that when the wait time is long, it is generally due to a patient that is distressed and needs extra help, or an emergency call. The office staff is great. They are very friendly. They make a good effort to learn your name, I found that they learned my name within 2 visits, even the newer ones. It is always a pleasure… dealing with them. In summary, Dr. Addams is one of the few doctors whose opinion I highly value. She is a great doctor and actually listens. She also has a great office staff.

i had a great experience with her. she was understanding and spent even extra time with me than was originally scheduled. She does have an accent, but her services are so good that there is no way that could deter me from coming back. She definitely knows what she is doing and it is clearly evident when one sees her. I have no complaints whatsoever. She is easily the best in her field in this area.

Would never go back to this doctor - she was awful. I could not understand her and she didn't even care what I had to say. The staff was very unprofessional and I sensed that they were all unhappy working there.
