When I took care of my father as he died of leukemia, I worked with several oncologists, including one at MD Anderson. It might shock those who haven't had cancer to know that dealing with the oncologists can be almost as terrible as dealing with the disease. So I can say from experience that Dr. Manhas is knowledgeable, trustworthy and caring. As a breast cancer patient, I feel I am getting careful and judicious treatment from Dr. Manhas; and I've learned (the hard way) that this combination of qualities is not easily found on the slippery slope of oncology.

I am very picky about my doctors, especially specialists. I actually found Dr. Manhas on accident, but I am so glad I did. I love her. She actually listens to what I tell her and cares about my concerns. She will actually spend as much time with you as you need instead of trying to rush you out like some other doctors do. I will never switch doctors. I even drive at least an hour to see her since I recently moved. She is worth the drive. I would highly recommend this doctor to anyone looking for one with this specialty.

Dr. Atisha Manhas takes the time to know the person she is treating and the back ground they come from. She is quick to order tests and get the patient on the road to recovery with whatever treatment is needed. I feel I went to the best possible doctor for my health issues. She is kind, caring, considerate and explains everything fully.
