Dr. Atsuko Ishikawa, MD

Our daughter is a complicated case as she has other medical problems and is one that is with special needs. Dr. Ishikawa spends time and discusses at length with us to come up with the best treatment. We are very fortunate to find a kind, caring, highly knowledgeable Psychiatrist. I would have rated this a 5 stars if the bathroom in the waiting area of the building where doctors offices are is kept clean at Premier Health Care in Bayside Queens. Many of the clients are with special needs, so it is expected that there will be spills etc and housekeeping have to keep up.

Dr Ishikawa claims child psychiatry amongst one of her specialties yet she cannot handle a poorly behaved child nor does she even try to. She claims to treat ADHD , etc. but yet when a child comes in displaying those exact symptoms she asks you to leave. I am not saying it's easy but that's the population. She may be great with adults but she sucked with my kid. And her bedside manner was also not so appealing.
