Dr. Aubrey Monde Masilela, MD

I seen him in the emergency room for my severe back pain. Before my x-rays came back, this doctor came in my room and started yelling at me in front of my daughter. He told me everyone gets degenerative discs in their back and I need to suck it up. Said he was 65 years old and he has it. He left the room without even checking on my back pain. At this t8ime, I could not hardly move. I requested another doctor to see but he was the only one available. After an hour, he came back in with a different attitude. Started checking my back and acting like he cared. Come to find out, the x-rays came back and it showed I had severe osteoarthritis in my spine. He knew he was in the wrong for treating me this way especially in front of my daughter. I had to report him for his intolerable attitude he had toward me. Anyone who has to see this doctor should take another adult with you for witness.

Doesn't listen to patient. Doesn't do any testing to find out what is wrong. Catches attitude with patient and raises voice....to a pregnat woman at that. Has no respect. Heard him in hallway complaing about me wanting to leave because he wasnt doing ANYTHING to assist with pain or fibd out what is causing it. I would NOT RECOMMEND this dr to anyone! I will NEVER USE HIM AS A DR AGAIN! Matter of fact if i need to go to er at cape fear valley i will call before i go to see what dr is working at the time. If he's there I would rather die than to see him again. I waited in waiting room for 4 hrs before even getting called back
