Dr. Audrey L Rogers, MD

After waiting over 1.5 hours past our scheduled appointment time, Dr Rogers came in with her mind already made up. Instead of listening to what had been going on with my child, she honed in on the fact that I gave her OTC antihistamines, and went into a 20 minute lecture on how they are a scam, don't work and are used to make illegal drugs.

I love Dr A. Yes, she gives advice. Yes, sometimes you may not like it, but that does not make it true. I appreciate her candor about long term effects of some of decisions parents are making today. My 4 children have seen her for 22 years, and I appreciate her being on our parenting team. Any doctor can vaccinate your child. Audrey gets in the weeds of life with you and advocates for your child. Thanks for being bold! In a world of 10 minute quick medicine, she spends as much time as necessary. We feel blessed to have her.

If I could give her 100 stars I would! Our son has been in her professional care since he was born and 17 years later he still is. I would not see anyone else no matter what. No only she does her diagnostics but also explains it to us so we understand, is patient and very fun to be around. Yes I would recommend her not just to friend and family but to anyone that needs a pediatric doctor. The parents that gives her bad ratings are typical adult that never listen to any professionals not just doctors. She is the Doctor not you!

I agree with everyone on here. As a first time parent I thought she knew it all and I should listen. But after going to my son's 2 year check up she goes over the same thing over and over and a 2 year old gets very restless after waiting 30 minutes and then sitting through a 30-45 min lecture. She does talk down to parents and some of the things she recommends are just completely over board when it comes to eating habits and disciplining our child. I came to think maybe I should just tell her what she wants to hear and just agree and do what I FEEL IS RIGHT FOR MY CHILD. But after our last visit I am done with her and am searching for a new pediatrician!!

My son saw her for his first year of life and I knew quickly that I would need to find someone else. She is cold and can be very rude. She insisted that my low birth weight preemie no longer needed to be nursed at night because "after 3 months babies don't really get hungry at night" seriously?! After I told her I would continue to nurse him as needed at night because it did t bother me in the slightest she insisted I needed to force him to cry at least 15 minutes before I did. Look lady I am not here for your old school parenting advice. I didn't ask for help because my 3 month old wasn't sleeping through the night, so why get angry at me? When he showed signs of severe food allergies that had been seen in my older child and stopped gaining weight, she acted like I was overreacting. I self referred to another Dr and discovered he was on the cusp of failure to thrive due to his bodies reaction to the allergic foods and his stalling of weight gain. I never went back to her office… again and tell everyone to avoid her because she makes you feel crazy when you question her about anything g.

I agree with all these comments. Same speech for both of my kids over the years regardless of their ages. I am finally switching.

This Doctor is out of touch with the times and with her responsibility as a Pediatrician. I spent 45 minutes waiting in a 10x10 box. After reviewing my 1 year olds growth progress she started to lecture me on acceptable parenting skills and discipline for that age (which included if my child wines t put him in his bed till he stops crying). She then moved on to my four year old who, after almost two hours in that one room was quite restless, and told me based on what she observed in the room that day I needed to change my discipline of my 4 year old. I said she was offending me and had she ran on time we would have been a little more compliant. She contunied to lecture me at shiwhc time I asked her to stop and she still continued. She is extreemly offensive and comes across as being better than everyone else. She also told me children should NEVER have snacks and simply three meals a day. a one year old and four year old can not eat at 11am and wait till 5:30 pm for dinner. Every… school even gives them snacks because every educator knows children need nutrition to sustain energy. Do not go to this Doctor. She is not encouraging to parents, she belittles you rather than sympathize with you and she is intolerant of children's behaviors (unless they sit quietly in a chair waiting on her for two hours).

The wait time was 2 hours. Dr is over booking herself. Redicilious! I almost walked out. I'm changing drs offices! Sickening!

This is a great practice and we trust Dr. Rogers' ability, but she spends way too much time lecturing on parenting skills. I have received the same lecture at my child's annual check-up for the last 8 years!
