She always has time to sit and visit and talk about life in general. I am always happy to hear that she’s the one on duty. I consider her a friend.

Absolutely no empathy, couldn't see life behind her eyes to figure out if she was actually listening or not. Had to tell her no, I don't want painkillers, I just want X-ray results to know the urgency of my fall injury. Such a bizarre visit with this creature. Also would be nice to have an updated photo, the photo online is at least 30 years old.

I was a patient of Dr . Schaffer for many years and she is always great, helpful, and responsive. She met with my Son, who lives in Tucson and he was so amazed to see her again.

My 19 yo son is a freshman at UA and we do not live in Tucson. He was ill and i scheduled him to go to an Urgent care where he was seen by Dr Schaefer. As his mother i wanted to be on the phone while she was seeing him to ask any appropriate questions however the Dr refused to see him if i (his mother) was listening on the phone even though my son gave permission and i am paying for the bill!! She walked out of the room. How rude! I had to hang up for her to come back into the exam room. Then of course she railed on him for not being vaccinated! Gave him a script for antibiotics for a viral infection which anyone knows is not effective against a viral infection.

I would never willingly see this provider unless I was looking for a dose of humiliation, apathy, and disregard while I was ill and vulnerable. No one should endure this kind of medical care.
