Dr. Augusto Caesar Posadas

I have struggled with my health for the last 7 years, seen more PC's and specialists than I could afford or would like to, three of whom were rhuematologists. By the time I got in to Dr. Posadas I had completely given up. I sat in the office waiting thinking I'm just going to get this over with & continue to suffer. My appt turned out to be the total opposite of what I was used to. He listened to me. It actually made me uneasy at first because I had become so disenchanted & just expected not to get help & ultimately feel very defeated & disappointed. He was extremely thorough, took the time to listen to my personal experiences & symptoms, go through my medical history and labs. Then proceeded to explain in great detail what the issue was, what his role is as a not only a rhuematologist but as my rhuematologist, explaining I would be treated as an individual, specific to my symptoms, not to be lumped into a category. Blunt, to the point, very knowledgeable and most importantly cares!… After having seen him I've had medication adjusted (taken off of harmful and over prescribed, unnecessary meds) and am actually starting to see a difference. I can honestly say that so long as I continue to see him for treatment I know I will be able to manage my health and see improvement. Don't give up hope.

He's been my Dr. for awhile. God knows how I thank him! I was very scared because I have not been able to eat anything, no appetite, his office gave me a case of ensure, this means a lot to me! I needed this also helped with my issue right away, Thank you Sir!

After searching for a doc who is fully aware of my conditions(fibromyalgia and osteoarthritis) I finally found what I was looking for. His interaction and explanations of my conditions was very thorough and clear. He really listens to his patients. I was quite impressed.

Dr. Posadas spent a good amount of time logging symptoms AND LISTENING! I’m 35 and he’s very aware with my overall health in the long run with all side effects and not just treating my autoimmune. He isn’t a doctor who is just going to throw a px at you, quickly misdiagnose and send you out the door, he talks me through the meds I’m on and my symptoms. I have an appt every three months to monitor my symptoms but he says if I need anything to just call and they’ll fit me in and they do! His office staff is all amazing and easy to communicate with.

Very kind and knowledgeable. Very patient and explains things thoroughly. Staff members are warm, welcoming and efficient.

I went into Dr. Posadas anxious about some lab work I had gotten done and symptoms I had been experiencing and left feeling reassured and well informed. His staff was friendly and I was in and out of the office quickly. I highly recommend .

I have been seeing Dr. Augusto Posadas for over two years. I found him through my insurance "find a doctor" page. I had been seeing a dermatologist for skin issues and an orthopedic surgeon for knee issues and knee replacement. I was also having pain in other joints and my back. I felt something was being missed, so I looked up the combination of symptoms and the symptoms seemed to indicate a form of arthritis. My first appointment was interesting, he listened to my thoughts and concerns, asked questions, and explained about psoriatic arthritis. He was informative that there isn't a "magic cure" and the treatment might require time and a progression of medications until one was found that was effective. This indeed has been the case, however I am making good progress and I am very comfortable with his conservative approach. I feel that I also need to comment on his staff, formerly he was in practice with an endocrinologist, he is now in his own space, and while the office is smaller… it is friendlier, the staff is much more attentive and personable and efficient. Dr. Posadas is very focused on his patients and the attitude of the whole office reflects that. As for some of the other reviewers comments, they just don't ring true with my experience. This is a wonderful caring physician who is working in a difficult specialty. I wonder if their experience was because they weren't listening to the doctor, rather than the other way around.

I have been with Mr. POSADAS due to my autoimmune issues! This man has done wonders for me! I like the fact that he is direct and professional and sticks to the point of your issues. He has taken me on emergency bases like today! God bless him! I was in so much pain! Great Doctor! Yes I recommended him to my husband and had no problems! Thank you Sir!

I have never had such an awful experience with a doctor before, and I have been to more than I can count in the past 3 years. Dr. Posadas was extremely rude and abrasive towards me. He never greeted me or asked how or why I was there. Instead he started off the appointment with telling me how it was going to go and that I pretty much had no reason to be there and he was going to prove that. He challenged every symptom that I stated to have as if I was lying. He then proceeded to challenge my diagnosis of Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and wanted me to convince him of why I believed to have it. I told him that the diagnosis was confirmed by 3 specialists and my physical therapist. As if that was not enough, he yelled at me throughout the entire appointment, even to the point where I was in tears. I had informed him that I was simply looking for help, for some guidance as to why I was experiencing so many issues and at such a young age. It was not okay. I am a young female, by myself, being… yelled at and belittled by someone who is supposed to be a professional in the field. I did not feel heard, helped, safe, or respected. I went there with hope of getting some answers and instead left feeling mortified and bad about myself. Please do your research before going to this doctor.

First specialist I have seen that truly seems to care. He takes his time and listens. Great bedside manner, no long wait and pleasant staff.
