Dr. Aurelio Etcheverry, DO

Based on my experience with Dr. Etcheverry, I can confidently say that he is a highly skilled Pediatrician.

My children like this doctor very much

Unlike other doctors he listens and understands my every concern.

Very good doctor and staff

Makes dangerous life threatening mistakes

We've had a few pediatricians with our older children but after meeting Dr. Etcheverry we are very happy with our choice. He hasn't been expelled from St Mary's either, that's just ridiculous. If you want to check for yourself, google St Mary's physician contact list, he is still listed as an admitting pediatrician for the hospital.

Honestly, any person that gives Dr. Etcheverry a bad review probably doesn't know what they're talking about. He's a FANTASTIC doctor and he cares so deeply about his patients. I HIGHLY recommend him. If someone is giving him a bad review, check their payment status because they probably haven't paid and thats the truth. Dr. Etcheverry is a great doctor.

Dr. Etcheverry's office staff and nurses are great--we went to another doc in the practice for years before she retired. We switched to him instead after an office staff member told me he was "amazing." Amazing at what, I never found out, because it sure isn't at "being a pediatrician." We would wait nearly an hour to be seen and then he would breeze in, not wash his hands, ask clipped questions, throw out solutions that were never explained, and leave. I don't think I ever spent more than ten minutes with him in the few months we saw him, even on "well child" visits, when our old ped would ask questions about growth, development, safety etc. He never did any of that. He definitely did not make me feel like he cared for my children at all. He also gave us some questionable advice and made us feel scolded when we tried to get an explanation or questioned his orders. I switched to another practice in town and am much, much happier there.

As per my experience with Dr Etcheverry he is a very skilled Pediatrician. He cares about you and your child. And who ever made the comment about the st. marys expoltion they might need to do more research!!!! Call the medical staff at st marys medical center in grand junction CO and they will tell you he has never had any problems with his priviledges!!! I would recommend Dr Etcheverry to any one!!! HE IS GREAT!!!

After too long with Dr. Etcheverry, I've come to question his judgment and competency. He does not seem especially talented in diagnosis and treatment. His billing office made a mess of my account, and I spoke with two others that had similar experiences. Seems to me he might be in the profession mainly for the money.
