Dr. Aurora Villaluz Yllana-Shepperd, MD

From my experience of being with Dr. Shepperd, she wants me to get blood work done every three months and see her within a month after that as well instead of the typical six months and she only refills my prescriptions for at one period of at a time. They canceled my appointment that I had in January due to so-called weather conditions, but they weren’t that bad from what I saw on the weather and then they weren’t gonna be able to get me in for another month or two after that, so I tried to get a prescription filled and they were only gonna fill my prescription for 20 days. So I do not recommend her office at all and a majority of her staff is rude as well as she is as well at times she even giggled during a time when I was talking something serious to her about a health condition. Like I said, I highly do not recommend her or her office at all.

Get past the front office, past the Genesis new patient registration and login, you will have a very good experience with Dr. Shepperd and the exam room staff. Dr Shepperd is very professional, attentive and knowledgeable

The absolute worst service. The answering service hung up on me twice without even giving me time to explain. My 85 year old mother is in the hospital, tested negative for Covid - 19 and is waiting on a release from primary care physician - Dr. Shepperd. My mom has been in the hospital for 3 days and still no word from the doctor. This is not the first time that this doctor has been unresponsive. Now, Dr. Shepperd has put my mom at risk - who was hurriedly moved from her wing which is full of Covid - 19 patients but can't release her because her primary care Dr. has been unresponsive. In the past, she has lost records, made her come into the office for an issue that she was just seen for, never available to talk or consult, no one answers the phone at the office. It's absolutely the worst care.

First she listens to your needs and worries and then she looks it what causes the illness and she works first on fixing the issue . And then starts on writing prescriptions or recommendations of a specialist . She is sweet and kind . Love her

The office started a new system. I haven't been sick in 3yrs. That makes me a new patient and they won't see me.

Called today and gal said the referrals we're not started yet. Two weeks ago they were started!! Major staff problem.

Still waiting for lab results and prescriptions 2 weeks after office visit. I have called four times.

I always feel that Dr. Shepperd knows me as a person and a patient, that is nice in this era of "get them in and get the out."
