Dr. Austin I Ogwu, MD

Dr Ogwu has been my doctor for 14 years. During that time he has correctly and timely diagnosed cancer,and renal failure, diabetes,flu, and many smaller problems. He has sent me to the appropriate specialist and enabled me to enjoy quality of life. In my experience he has been very accurate and direct. His staff has always been very friendly and helpful. I recommend him and his staff.

It doesn’t matter if you come first thing in the morning or in the afternoon you always will have a 2 to 3 hour wait before you even see the doctor and at least an hour wait in the room. They are very on organized and they schedule multiple appointments to where you have to wait 2 to 3 hours to see the doctor that makes no sense when I schedule less patients so that you can get them in and out swiftly. I would not waste my time going there and I would not recommend it to anyone that I know

Sad place of business. Put you in a room and forget about you. Didn't tell my my mom she wasn't diabetic anymore. She lost 60 lbs. Eating healthy. The new Dr. told her to throw the pills out. Dr. Ogwu told her to told her to keep taking the pills 4 a day. I stop going and so did my mom.

Terrible terrible terrible...I've been waiting for 2HOURS and still have not seen the doctor. I will never be back to this office again! !! There is no structure at this facility.

After paying for an office visit and lab work, Dr. Ogwu wanted me to make another appointment and pay another office visit fee to get the results of my lab work. I told him that I didn't think that it was necessary to be told my lab results in person and pay for another office visit to get what I already paid for. We agreed that he would look at my lab work and call me if there was reason to be concerned, if not, he would not call. Two months went by and I returned for lower back pain (which could have been related to my medication) only to find out that my lab work had never been looked at by him, and moreover, it had never been put into my medical record. I put my trust in him to guard my medical well-being and he completely and negligently betrayed me by not following up with my lab results in a timely manor, putting my physical health at risk. It is my opinion that Dr. Ogwu puts business profit over patient care and I would not recommend him or his clinic to anyone in need of… good medical care.

If there was no PA there I wouldn't have lasted this long as a patient. I try to support black doctors and what I got from Dr. Ogwu is horrible bedside manner, insults, the longest wait in the waiting room guaranteed. I have found a new doctor and won't be going back to this one.
