Dr Kaufman, head nurse Eva and the entire team are outstanding. I have been seeing Dr. Kaufman for over 10 years. Believe it or not, I have even paid out of pocket when she no longer accepted the insurance plan I carried (yup, she's that good).

Dr. Kaufman is a superb internist and very personable and caring as well.

Dr. Kaufman is a terrific physician. She is exceptionally smart, knowledgeable and kind. She will take all the time needed to figure out what is wrong with you (even if it is a great mystery). She is extremely well-informed, and will give you excellent advice and counsel. I cannot imagine a better doctor.

Dr. Kaufman is exceptional (as validated by her peers who have selected her one of Washingtonâ??s â??Top Doctors,â?? in Washingtonian magazine). She has all the basics â?? great med school, multiple specialties, masterâ??s degree in public health, annual continuing education at Harvard, etc. But several other things really distinguish her : 1) she is on top of â?? or out in front of â?? significant developments (risks of PSAs, concerns about statins, dangers of supplements, and womenâ??s issues which I canâ??t speak to), 2) she listens intently and acts as if you are the only person sheâ??s seeing that day, 3) in the end, she will give you her best advice, but she will also respect your choices. Sheâ??s one of the few doctors I know who will take questions or concerns over email. And when I was seriously injured overseas, Dr. Kaufman was on the phone offering guidance and support. Add an office across the street from public parking, a pleasant office, and a warm and caring… staff, and you are set.

Dr Kaufman is an extraordinary diagnostician, as well as a caring doctor. Additionally she is so well respected by colleagues that specialists have responded quickly when consults have been needed. My entire family and I highly endorse her. You would be lucky to have her become your internist. t============

Dr. K always walks in with a smile . . . bringing calm no matter the situation.She listens carefully and patiently.She takes good notes and never hurries.She's up-to-date on research and thoughtful about treatment strategies.She explains her thinking and the basis for her decisions / suggestions.
