Dr. Avantica Gondi, MD

Dr. Gondi is an excellent doctor. I have had her for over ten years and her care and professionalism stand out when I see her. She is an intelligent doctor who has always taken care of any problem I have ever had. I would highly recommend her as my doctor.

She is sexist (yes I said it). She treats men very different than women. My wife saw her first and she was ok towards her. She offered to refill her medication the first day, asked if there was anything she could do for her. However when I went in there she gave me an attitude, informed me that per policy she cannot give me any refills on my medication until she gets my records from my previous primary care physician. Then when I disagreed with her she told me that she was offended and that I was giving her a hard time. My wife and I were stunned. My wife called her out on her lies and she back pedaled and told us that she must have misunderstood. Do not go to her if you can help it. She will not help you

Great doctor and friendly staff I feel happy to be a patient in this doctor office

Dr. Gondi charged me for a yearly visit and didn't even check my vitals or do an exam! She asked a couple questions, wrote out prescriptions and sent me on my way. I think she needs to retire! I felt cheated and definitely uncared for. Her PA on the otherhand is excellent, caring and ALWAYS does an exam, even if it's a followup only.

I got appointment for my wife nobody told us dr. Not available and his PA is there no doctor.how can you give us appointment if dr.is not available .we went there because of dr.

Dr. Avantica Gondi is the worst Dr. I've ever had, by far and away. I've seen a lot of Docs in my time and I have never seen someone so mean, cruel, and angry at the world. Also, Dr. Gondi has no understanding of the practice of medicine (I was an R.N. for 20 years, so I know my doctors and practicing medicine). There are too many bad things to say about this doctor to put them in this review, but if you don't believe me, try her out for you Primary Care Physician. If you don't have insurance, she charges $175.00 per visit every time. With insurance, Dr. Gondi is sooooo kind as to only charge $115.00 for every visit. I seriously don't know what keeps this clinic going. Also, her clinic (Lakeland Physicians' Group) is filthy, filthy, filthy (carpet, walls, counters, smell, and who knows what else). You have been warned and I hope you find a great dr. who is kind and knows what they are doing. A few still exist.

I have been 3 times now to Dr Gondi and am always impressed with the kindness and knowledge shown. I was in distress physically this last time and the Dr. got me straightened out quickly and saved me an expensive trip to the emergency room. The office support staff are also very kind and very helpful. Always a good experience. Great, Knowledgeable, and kind Dr.

I would recommend Dr. Gondi without hesitation. She sincerely cares about her patients. My blood sugar was getting near the diabetes range and I was put on metformin before it reached the diabetic stage. I exercise regularly and diet now. My blood sugar is completely normal. Dr. Gondi sees me every three months. She is an excellent doctor.
