Dr. Avinash Singh, MD

Dr.Singh is a Great Doctor. Really took the time to listen to me. He has not only helped me with my sleeping issues but my husband we feel like new people after Dr.Singh took the time to listen to us and get us on our CPAP machines. Anyone would be lucky to have him as a doctor.

Dr. Singh is the absolute worst doctor I've ever seen. Not only does he not want to listen to his patients, he is so rude and unhelpful he literally made me have a break down right there in the office. I left in tears. He also knows absolutely nothing about sleep medicine. A co-worker who has been dealing with narcolepsy 30+ years told me that she saw him once when she had to find a new doctor and she refused to pay, he was that awful. After 2 sleep studies, he told me to get a CPAP to help with a mild central apnea that was detected, and had me undergo a 3rd sleep study to figure out the settings. I was skeptical, as a quick internet search told me a CPAP only helps with obstructive apnea. Not being able to force myself to see him again, I got referred to KU Med pulmonology. I am SO glad I did. The doctor there explained that CPAP can make Central Sleep Apnea worse, and to stop using it. So now I have a pointless $1200 piece of equipment I can't use. Thank goodness I'd already met my… deductible. Within 15 minutes at KU Med, they were able to diagnose me with narcolepsy. I have been to enough crap doctors in my life I try to prevent others from wasting their time as well. Just don't see Dr. Singh. He's the worst.
