Dr. Avisheh Forouzesh, MD

I paid $50 to be demeaned by this doctor for 45 minutes straight. I had a horrible experience with you and you put a putrid taste in my mouth in seeking out other infectious disease drs. You brought me into a waiting room (a room with a work table) to fill out papers and then when it was my turn your greeting was asking me how old I was and telling me I look 15 years old. I'm a 25 year old grown adult woman. You were so rude going as far as telling me "so you don't need to be here" in the middle of me explaining my health history and why I am there. I did not feel respected, listened to, or supported I felt judged and deeply insecure upon leaving. I felt so uncomfortable after you said that since its very hard to ask and find help to be met with such hostility, belittlement, and dismissal. During our appointment another patient was knocking on the door.... you actually got up and answered it and proceeded to point at me and say " she's leaving right now". After that having the audacity… to ask for my copay and told me you doubt anything is wrong with me. I will not be returning or recommending to anyone ever.

I have been a patient of Dr. Forouzesh for the past several years, she is kind and compassionate, she addresses every question and listens attentively makes you feel very comfortable.

I highly recommend Dr. Forouzesh. My son has been having frequent and severe episodes of a high fever of an unknown origin for three years. The Doctor ordered the quantiferon gold TB test which tested positive, she was very assertive and aggressive clinically speaking. I am very thankful for her accurate diagnosis and I am looking forward to having my son followed up with her.
