Dr. Avraham Belizon

I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Avraham Belizon for a hiatal hernia repair. Unfortunately, my experience with his office was extremely disappointing. Despite my efforts to coordinate care, the practice repeatedly rescheduled my appointments, including the surgery itself, which requires a six-week recovery period. These delays made it impossible for me to undergo the surgery this year—despite having already met my deductible after have a daughter in January. The constant rescheduling not only impacted my health but also caused significant disruption to my responsibilities as a parent, my professional obligations, and my travel plans. What’s most upsetting is the complete disregard the office showed for my time and planning. I made every necessary adjustment in my life to prioritize this surgery, and yet, their disorganization and lack of communication rendered all of that effort pointless. This experience has cost me thousands of dollars in wasted insurance premiums and lost… opportunities for care. No matter the skill of the surgeon, the administrative dysfunction and lack of patient consideration are unacceptable. His staff was beyond rude, speaking over me constantly, when I asked her to stop, she accused me of being rude. I can't stress enough how unprofessional the staff was, avoid at all costs!

Colon surgery was scaring me...I am alone and older with disabilities. Dr. Belizon was especially caring when I told him I'm slow in understanding. He took the extra time and care. This helped me understand what to do from my end. Together, we had an entirely successful surgery. Brilliant and caring...the rapid rate of my recovery is what I call miraculous. Takes a special doctor to get me to award that! But he deserves it. My pleasure.

Once being referred to Dr. Avraham Belizon of Surgical Associates of the Palm Beaches. I felt extremely comfortable about discussing the issue at hand and hearing the options available. After making a decision to move forward with a surgery procedure for Staple Hemorrhoidopexy. The team and staff of Dr. Belizon were kind and polite through the entire process. The pain after surgery was less than expected, due to caring side of the doctor. I went to Dr. Belizon for a hernia repair, He suggested I have it done electively rather than wait. I scheduled it and had it done robotic-ally. He answered all of my questions pre and post surgery. I have two very small incisions. I was a bit uncomfortable for a couple of weeks. The worst part was following doctor's orders and not carrying anything over 10 lbs. I am now just six weeks post surgery. I feel great and I am back to doing 100% of my daily routine like running and lifting.

Botched my operation ! And then waited months (appropriately, but I had to bear with the botched result) before doing the necessary correction and then charged me ! Stay away .. find someone more experienced and check them out first ! I didn’t !

Unethical

I was suffering terribly with anal fissures and hemorrhoids. My primary doctor recommended Dr. Belizon. Upon contacting his office, I was quickly given an appointment. He initially prescribed a special ointment and stated that it should work and if not we would have to explore another avenue. Well, it did not work and my body was screaming in pain. I went to see Dr. Belizon again and after a brief discussion, he arranged to do surgery the very next morning. I am in my 4th week after surgery and living with mild discomfort. I am on my way to full recovery. Dr. Belizon is most professional, very easy going, and turned a horrible situation into one of tremendous relief.
