Dr. Ayan Chatterjee, MD

My experience with Dr. Ayan Chatterjee, MD (Ophthalmology) at Kremer Eye Center Philadelphia has been dreadful. He is the worst doctor in the globe. I am curious how he became a doctor. He lacks professionalism, compassion, and the ability to treat women with respect. Because to his lack of judgment, he has messed both of my eyesight. My vision is worse today than it was before the procedures. I am furious with this establishment and would never recommend it to my dearest enemy. Please do not see Dr. Ayan Chatterjee, he is the most incompetent person on the planet. I am quite disappointed in Kremer for hiring such an unethical, compassionless doctor in their business. As a doctor, you cannot insult your patients, especially a woman, for no reason. Dr. Ayan Chatterjee's inflated ego cannot accept constructive input from patients, and he has permanently damaged the patient's sight. I've never seen a doctor who violates the Hippocratic Oath's medical practice values while still working… and causing agony and contempt to their patients. I will not return and would urge anyone coming there to avoid Dr. Ayan Chatterjee's rudeness and unprofessional behavior. Because he has treated me so unprofessionally and disrespectfully, I shall seek legal counsel to launch a lawsuit against this doctor. I am quite disappointed and frustrated with Kremer for keeping such an uncultured rude doctor in their center. I hope that this review helps others in a similar predicament.

Great credentials, knowledgeable and confident without being aloof, addressed all pre and post op concerns. Followed up each procedure personally immediately after and even weeks later.

Dr Chatterjee is very knowledgeable, and he is willing to listen to, and to answer questions. My surgery went well and as planned.

Dr. Chattery was outstanding before surgery and after surgery. I had cataract surgery and vision correction. I’m very satisfied with both procedures. My wife needs cataract surgery and I absolutely would want her see Dr. Chatterjee. thank you Dr. and the entire staff at Kremmer Eye Center Cherry Hill

Dr. Chatterjee performed cataract surgery on both eyes and I am a very happy person ..... no glasses! Dr. Chatterjee explained everything to me, took his time and answered all my questions. He’s a great surgeon and truly caring. He personally called after the surgery to check on things ..... Don't see that these days! I referred and will refer Dr. Chatterjee to my friends in need. Dr. Chatterjee is GREAT!

I was very impressed with Dr. Chatterjee. Eye surgery made me some concern, but that was gone after my first consult with Dr. Chatterjee. I never had a doctor call me directly after the surgery, and twice more months after the surgery to see how I was and if there were any problems. I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Chatteree is a great Glaucoma surgeon but with no side effects during and After 6 months. He is so good that when our prior Eye Doctor was too busy to see me during a Glaucoma Emergency, Dr. Chatterjee saw me immediately the next morning. He is a Super Star as far as I'm concerned.

Dr. Chatterjee was recommended by my eye doctor whose opinion I highly respect. I was not disappointed! Dr. Chatterjee took the time to answer all my questions thoroughly and patiently regarding options to address my bilateral cataracts. On the day of surgery, an unexpected and unrelated medical situation caused me to have to reschedule my surgery. Dr. Chatterjee stayed in close communication with me until I was cleared again to (finally!) have my surgery. In addition to his skill as a physician, I have also greatly appreciated his kind and empathetic bedside manner. I absolutely recommend him to everyone!

I was surprised to hear I needed bilateral cataract surgery. Dr Chatterjee was recommended by my eye doctor- As a nurse, I can tell you he is top notch! He was patient, understanding and sensitive to my needs (I was scared ). His professionalism and technical ability is beyond comparison- I recommend him to everyone I know.
