Dr. Ayanna Rashea Woltz, MD

I highly recommend Dr. Woltz for all women who are searching for a caring, knowledgeable, GENTLE and experienced gynecologist! No, you don't have to be pregnant for Dr. Woltz to take good care of you! I put my full faith and trust in Dr. Woltz and her assistants, Mary Lou and Vickie, during my hysteroscopy in the Bridgewater office. A hysteroscopy can be done in office or in a hospital, which would mean general anesthesia. Several people I know did theirs in a hospital, but since I have two upcoming unrelated procedures/surgeries, I wanted to do this in the office setting without being put under.... but in the same breath, I needed assurances that Dr. Woltz not only had the experience to perform my hysteroscopy but that she had the confidence that I would do fine. Preparing for it involved Advil the night before and the morning of, one 10mg Valium to take the edge of nervousness away, lidocaine to numb the cervix and a shot of Toradol in the arm before she began. Absolutely, completely… painless.... just a little tugging feeling and a little pressure and a little cramping. For any woman who has experienced childbirth, this was a walk in the park. Dr. Woltz, Mary Lou and Vickie were absolute professionals and I could not be happier with the entire staff at Somerset OB/GYN. I wanted to write this review for OTHER WOMEN out there who are nervous about the unknown, like I was. I put my full faith and trust in Dr. Woltz and she was absolutely amazing!

Not professional unless your pregnant

I love doctor Woltz! She is my favorite at Somerset OBGYN practice and I’m so happy she delivered my baby! She’s nice and knowledgeable and makes you feel comfortable in an uncomfortable situation.

Dr. Woltz took care of me during my miscarriage and had excellent bedisde manners, explained everything to me in detail. I highly recommend her to anyone.

Dr. Woltz is very caring and knows her stuff. She spends time with you to get to know you and explains everything. I had a lot of things going on and she did a full Hysterectomy. It was like having a tummy tuck (lol). She did a great job. I would highly recommend her.

Dr Woltz is an excellent doctor. She takes her time, explains things thoroughly and has an excellent bedside manor. I would highly recommend her. She makes you feel very comfortable in a usually uncomfortable situation. She is the best. I have been seeing her for many years.

She is very experienced in ob/gyn & I trust her with everything! I was pregnant with twin fraternal girls & she took such good care of me leading up to the birth. My former doctor (at another practice) had told me as I was pregnant with twins it would be a C-section. Dr Woltz informed me I had the option to try for a vaginal birth. Only problem was that baby B (second baby to come out) was head up, but she managed to manipulate my tummy to get her to turn & had vaginal birth for both my girls! Yay! I still see Dr Woltz every year for my annual gyn appt. She has a great bedside manner & makes every visit an easy pleasant one. Nothing but great things to say about Dr Woltz!

I was in search of a new gyn and found Dr. Woltz on Aetna's website. After my first appointment today, I would highly recommend her, based on her bedside manner and the time she took with me during the visit. A++++

I am in my 9th month of pregnancy right now and she is my Doctor currently. I ask for her EVERY time because she is truly the best! She spends time talking to me and is truly invested in the welfare of my baby as well as myself and my husband. Not many Doctors out there have such a warm bed side manner as she does. She also understands no matter what it is I talk to her about. I never feel judged or like she "talks down to me" like I have with so many other Doctors. I was referred to her by someone I know and I am truly grateful that I was. After I have my baby, I plan to keep her as my Obstetrician & Gynecologist hopefully forever!

Horrible! Completely talked down to me and didn't ingest a word I had said. Misdiagnosed me. I ended up paying cash and going back to my old doctor who was no longer in my plan and found out I had fibroids that were causing my horrible symptoms. No bedside manner at all, whatsoever; she seemed annoyed that I was even there and she couldn't wait to get rid of me....humiliated me in front of her staff when I asked her a question.
