Worst office staff I have ever encountered. The girls at the front desk are completely unprofessional. Dr Livingstones staff is incapable of scheduling properly with my surgery cancelled (2x), which meant (2) covid tests, because of insufficient blood work. In my opinion Louis her direct assistant would be bye bye. Dr. Livingston said i would be under local anesthesia she said like a couple of glasses of wine, I was completely Unconscious and don’t remember anything. Definitely not like 2 glasses of wine. Waiting to go in to surgery the dr passed by and I could barely keep her attention for 2 seconds as she was rushing out of the room (terrible bedside manner). Bottom line in my opinion is Dr Livingston is one of the worst drs I have ever encounter. My finger is 10x worst (of which she never explained was a possibility). Of course we all know the risks of surgery but she never explained other consequences. And finally I found out this procedure is normally done in the office, this… in an outpatient clinic makes them alot more money. I would never recommend Dr. Livingstone and am in the process of getting my finger fixed

I have had two surgeries from Dr Livingstone due to severe pain in my hands from arthritis.. She is never in a rush to take care of you. She spends as much time that is needed to answer all questions. She put a screw in my right thumb to straighten it and its perfect. Recently she cut a bone out that was severely infected with arthritis and is healing perfectly. I went to other hand doctors in my area and thank the uinverse I found her. I travel to Ft Lauderdale to see her, one hour from my home. I love her!

The Dr did surgery on both of my hands with Great results. Was remiss about writing a review. Tonight I referred my waitress while at dinner as she was wearing a wrist support. Dr. Livingstone was wonderful both in and out of the OR. The Office staff was very pleasant and helpful. I truly told the Dr that I wish I had another hand just to see her again. One other quick comment, her injections were absolutely painless.!!! . .

Suffering many many years with CTS ,was very fearful of surgery to the point it was no longer considered BUT after seeing DrLivingston I am encouraged and actually looking forward to having surgery and putting CTS to bed-once & for all! DrLivingston administered a steroid injection into the tunnel,it was painful to say the least & the next day it "flared",I knew what to expect although I didn't expect a flare up-still,3 days later my hand feels wonderful(I haven't had a pain free hand for over 2 decades) Now I can imagine what the end result of surgery with Dr.Livingston will be like and I'm confident the nightmare will end....she's super competent,professional and has a delightful bedside manner.I'm not afraid to put my hand in her hands!!!!

An example of why I would not engage a black woman in my medical care EVER. Spent more time on the geography of my work history unrelated to my care. Ineffective, poor listener, kept waiting while in pain to the point of my head between my legs & near vomiting; recommended doctor she claimed took my plan, waited again to schedule that appointment only to be told he does not accept my insurance. Occupational therapist is correct. No education, no experience, does not care. Had to argue with her to do surgery on my thumb, then flippantly states she does not do nerve repair, then changes her answer multiple times, refused MRI, & argues about the cause of my injuries. Perhaps best suited for white people & Blacks who suit her perceptions & comfort zone. Dr Paul Meli, you lost my trust & confidence in spite of your work on my shoulder & knee. Taking my business elsewhere.Your black employees need sensitivity training in dealing with black disabled. And my economic status is my business.… They have no compassion & frankly are dangerous. My well-being did not matter

I was battling a serious case of carpel tunnel for a very long time and Dr. Livingstone with her wonderful hands, surgery couldnt of went better. I understand that this industry is changing due to new govt regulations so of course any doctor is going to want to make sure the pre-approvals are done prior to admittance. Everyone in the office was super nice and treated me as good as any medical office could. To the folks complaining that you felt like you were moved through the system, welcome to Obama's world and Obamacare. My surgery went awesome, Dr. Livingstone is awesome and couldn't be happier with the outcome. The follow ups were easy to schedule and everyone was knowledgeable about my symptoms. Nothing but positive things to say about the entire staff and especially Dr. Livingstone.

super competent, friendly, courteous, really concerned for patient. thank goodness my primary dr got me and appt. with her.

I'm a new patient, just had a consult. Already I'm impressed with Dr. Livingstone. My experience in the office was great. Professional, knowledgeable, etc. Can't wait to start treatment. I was so pleased with my overall experience. The staff were caring and professional. I felt like a real person to them, not just a patient. And the best part is, I'm not in pain anymore!

I was recently been involved In a serious car accident, where my car was totaled and I ended up with 2 broken bones in my right hand, I was told In the ER that I have to be seen by a hand specialist, this is how I came across this DR. she was the only one with the earliest opening, upon arrival they informed me I had to pay the 20% up front in order to be seen, even as I told her I have full coverage through my auto Insurance and the Insurance from the person at fault, I also have my own once the auto Insurance is tapped out, I had them talk to my Insurance rep and even that didn't help. Not everyone carries $200.00 in there pocket. They were very rude towards me as well as my rep, there more concerned about the money than the patient in need. needless to say, I never saw the DR. and I walked out and found another Dr.

Had to wait for the office staff to confirm my insurance before appt. was made even though I explained I would be paying in full due to deductible. Just felt like a car part in an assembly line. I tore a tendon, she looked at me like I was a drug seeker when I said I was in pain. Also, she sent me right back to work even thouh I was suppose to keep my finger straight at all times in a splint and my work entails lifting, pulling and washing hands a lot... just didn't work for my healing process.
