The doctor was very impatient and she failed to properly diagnose and treat me.

She saved my life, discovering I had a physical disease causing some psychological issues!. She never made mistakes. I left with overflowing bags of RX samples when I had no insurance. She was efficient and got things done. But also, she was kind to teach. We moved on from her area, unfortunately. Then I got a good education in exactly how good she was because since then I've had a run of bad luck with psych docs who are just going through the motions and couldn't really care less. . If you're reading this, Dr. Meloukheia, thank you for caring enough to find out what was actually wrong with me. A+ doctor!

I have been a patient of Dr. Meloukheia's for over a year now. I have nothing but positive comments about this practice. Recommended highly, specifically with the quality of care in many central Florida practices.

This is a doctor who spends time listening, and she actually cares about her patients. I would full heartedly recommend Dr. Meloukheia to anyone looking for a caring psychiatrist.

I love Dr. M and her staff except for the nurse at the front who is very rude. I am not sure why she works there. She needs to work in a place where she does not have to deal with people already with issues. Dr. M remebers everthing about me and my issues. She really listens and is always right on point. She treat my daughter has well who has bipolar and has helped us both to better communicate with each other and for me to understand bioplar and how to deal with my daughter without going crazy and increasing my ansiety caused my relationship with my daughter. In my opinion she is excellent doctor who can deal with bioplar and knows exactly what to expect from people suffering with this mental illness. I am so grateful for her.

I loved this doctor at first because I had no idea what she was really doing to me. After almost two years of seeing her and 5 medications later I am dealing with the aftermath of what she did. Instead of treating my problem she just doped me up so well I thought I was feeling better only to get side effects from the medications that I never had to be on to begin with. She would make me come in multiple times a month to get different medications instead of writing 90 day scripts like my current doctor. She then accused me of violating her trust when she realized what the medications were doing to me. I am not a pill popper as a matter of fact I am weening myself off most of the medications she put me on and am down to 2 medications from 5. I have since seen a new psychiatrist only to find out I don't have any of the conditions she diagnosed me with. I would not suggest seeing this doctor.

I gave Dr. M a chance and stayed with her after my old doctor was moved to the VA hospital. I have been suffering with severe panic attacks since 16, and I needed someone I can trust. However she violated this trust by calling my mother and revealing private details from our therapy sessions. This was a nightmare as my mother has her own mental problems, and I am still dealing with the repercussions. I was not suicidal nor did I suggest it and I've always been lucid: she was basically gossiping, not treating my illness or looking for my safety and well-being. No one should ever have their privacy violated like this, and a psychiatrist should be someone who can be trusted.
